Alot of Structural modifications would be required. It is not possible to go into a major design phase after production phase. (use a multiple ejection Rack and forget about structural modifications .... Easy) (F-15 has only one hardpoint under each wing but still look it up in Google and you will be amazed)

Composites have their downside. They are not easy to handle.

I am not intrested in increasing any wing span etc
that comment was just 4 the better appearence not 4 performance…
hardpoints & wingspan will surely increase with intwrnal fuel capacity & size but after inducing 100kn+ engine with full use of composites etc……:coffee:

I am sure that these Block-II models with dual seat and single seat will be better than these models and will incorporate:
Composites
CFT like Block-52s
Retractable In Flight refueling Probe like Grippen
WS-13 100KN with 3D TVC
Better Avionics with AESA and FLIR with IRST pod under air intakes.

Composites.................................................Very hard to maintain. But composites are the future.
CFT like Block-52s.........................................Doable but major structural changes may be required.
Retractable In Flight refueling Probe like Grippen....I hate those Probes (and i have a very good reason for it)
WS-13 100KN with 3D TVC................................Totally depends on China
Better Avionics with AESA and FLIR with IRST pod under air intakes....(IRST built into the structure is the way to go)

Well every one here is talking about engine and radar is not good why you ppl don't listen to A.C who on numerous occasion said that P.A.F is quite satisfied with current engine and radar.............

Do you need USAF Air Chief to say that RD 93 and KLJ 7 is good for jf than you ppl will believe.

All Dear and respected members those are discussing on engine and radar JF 17 is never meant to be High End Fighter jet P.A.F need a good, reliable and with in budget replacement for their aging fleet of mig's a5 and want a single platform to replace 2-3 type of aircrafts by one will share some other facts

tafgripen15.jpg

in flight refueling probe of gripen
same type will be suitable for pakistan

WS-13 100KN with 3D TVC

Plane having +8.5g limit not possible to handle TVC nozzle body cant bear such stress

Avionics yes. Undisclosed I don't think so.

Support CFT. Big NO. how are CFTs supported in F-16 C then?

I think in dual seat the rear seat takes up the avionics compartment so you have to shift them somewhere else and the only viable option seems to be making of an dorsal spine. I may be wrong.

First off all am not an F-16 Avionics expert. If you know what those "undisclosed" avionics are, then I would appreciate if you put some light on them. Regarding CFT's..... that was my personal guess, however it does seems they get a little bit support from the Dorsal Spine (my thoughts). As for Dual Seat, it's obvious that avionics are there for the Dual Seat factor :)

I forgot what is CFT…… please remind me
WS-13 can maybe used in JF17B later after induction not in start…
compositer expected
IFR expected
IRST too fast to go
In flight refulling will surely be induced but JFT has its own standard so please stop comparing it with other matchoured platforms…
Better Avionics
AESA are you really serious?? not in list but upgraded and more lightweight radar expected…
increase in payload and speed expected coz of use of composites and light weight radar and matchored avionics…

soo whats the point??
we all know such upgrades are not done in seconds and big structural changes are required……:yu:

Why PAF has abandoned to age old tradition of not using any living thing as insignia...?
Spiders...scorpions ..big cats....don't look good on PAF planes...

The latest image indicated that a tandem-seat trainer version (JF-17B?) was unveiled at the 2013 Paris Airshow, which has the electronic compartment removed from top of the vertial tailfin.
