Prostitution does not equal homosexuality. Your statement is logically flawed. Nor does it equate to "free sex". What does "free sex" mean anyway? That people should be able to freely engage in consensual sex after they have reached the age of majority? That is legal in almost every country in the world. If it weren't then me and @Hyperion would have been stoned to death a long time back. You wouldn't let that happen to your friends, right @Armstrong?:) We shouldn't caper around like 6 year olds who giggle and scream at the thought of private parts and what not. I don't think you understand what the term jurisprudence in this case stands for, their are marriage laws and acts in every country- it relates to that.

Whats wrong in making prostitution legal on the same lines those of Lesbian/ gay marriages?

Secondly if i dont understand kindly explain what does juridprudence in this case of lesbian/gay marriage stand for?

How will marriage laws act?

And last not the least in this case of Indian ladies' marriage to each other, the Hindu priest performed the rituals. Is it allowed in Hinduism? i mean gay/lesbian marriage?

@Armstrong Come over and I can prepare buff stake for you or else we'll have to chill at a 5 star or go the Kerala or NE states. :)

The weird thing is I can even get pork at Republic of chicken shops here but as you know beef is a no no in North India for most people. Although you'll find a surprising number of well off people who don't believe in any dietary restriction. Speaking of dietary restrictions, even my guard is keeping his ramzan fast, hasn't missed a day, from 4 in the morning to 7:30 in the evening he says. DAMN! That's hard, specially when you're lugging a double barreled rifle and patrolling up and down the colony. :undecided:

Dont have any issue with if some people want to portray abnormal things as normal. Thats their life their right.

BUT i am asking you as you claimed they want right to get legally married. what is legal about it??

Will there be a demand for making a law allowing free sex ?

Is lesbian and gay marriages are legal now then why prostitution illegal?

Who said prostitution is illegal in India?

There are certain red light areas where prostitution is legal in India.

Prostitution is a different thing to same sex marriage.

Oiii @SHAMK9 - Tujhee sharam tou nahin ayiiii !

Hurrr meriii ghalat post ko 'thank' kar deitaa haiii ! :disagree:

Hinduism has no stand on gays or lesbians, nor any stand on sex at all. Hinduism does not peak into anyone's bedroom BUT social norms which are not part of the religion are another matter. So technically a purohit can indeed ordain such a marriage.

AGAIN Prostitution and homosexuality are two DIFFERENT issues, if you cannot intellectually differentiate between the two then any further elucidation on concerned legislation will be an exercise in futility.

@GURU DUTT Not unethical in Hinduism, show me one religious text which has any issues whatsoever with homosexuality. It is found to be unethical in our society for reasons not related to the religion itself. Don't equate social norms with religious edicts.

Kal, Karma and Dharmayog, that's all. NOT who you bone and how you go about it.

Oh mere bhai, that which is not mentioned is neither forbidden nor propagated. Hinduism's job is not to tell people what to do OR not do in their bedrooms. That's the point. Hinduism and other dharmic religions have always maintained a position of neutrality whatever the social stance of its adherents might be. Lets not turn sanatan dharm into an abrahamic offshoot. Hinduism does not meddle in matters material (that comes under karm and kam yog) and enunciates matters temporal, that my dear friend is its strength. Bhai Kahjurao can scandalize most pornstars leave alone our nubile audience here.
@GURU DUTT Although you can find some interesting research and anecdotes on divorce practices and same sex culture during vedic times in the sociological and Sanskrit department in Cal univ. What do you think of paying a hundred panas and double a damsel's nupital fee along with ten lashes of the rod for initiating a divorce against your wife with mal-intention of marrying another?:laughcry:

well thanks for such a reply onli a learned person can talk like that i have many respects for you sir but the point is gay sex/merrige is unethikal and against the lwas of nature and it should be condemmed and opposed in all strongest forms even death penalty to them is not bad

rahi baat legalised prostitution ki to sex is a natural thing for ani human just like sleed , food , water or air so if some person is alone/ unmarried and wants his daily dose i think prostitution should be allowed but in a way that it dosent offends the fabrick of society i think there should be a red light area owtside the limits of every town so people dont indulge in crimes related to sex within the city limits ....im sorry admin/ mods about my blunt remarks please forgive me Thanks
