Thats one of the greatest lies dictators, terrorists, and their like expound to justify their illegal actions :) I dont think it behooves a democratic country to do the same, and I do believe India is a democracy.

Fight terror with what is right and you will win in the end, sink to the same level and then there is no difference between you and them.

We don't live in such idealistic world unfortunately, sometimes you have to fight wrong with wrong. Fake encounter is not really that wrong, it just expediting the justice process.

thank GOd they have still blamed ISI for it

I beg to differ. If Gandhi would have sat on a fast to protest against the Nazi Government, Gandhi would have died due to lack of food.

Then we will have to agree to disagree :)

I would also beg to disagree and I think you are doing a great disservice to Gandhi by negating the principles he stood for. When he lived in South Africa he was one of the first Indian to fight the apartheid, not by making bombs or by killing those who were killing blacks and Indians, but by peaceful means.

Today who remembers those apartheid killers and bullies? and what does the world think of them? And what does the world think of Gandhi?

Never mind - While facing evil - I will take up the gun. Period. You are free to choose the Gandhi way.

To each our own then? :) But I am not advocating pacifism, rather in this case something different but never mind, its the weekend and I am sure we both have far better thing to do hehe.

All these terrorists should be eliminated in encounters. Get all info you can get from them through sustained interrogation and once they stop singing bump them off. No need to waste courts time and tax payers money. Waise he hamare courts main bahut cases pending hain. Even Kasab took 4 years to hang with all the evidence and all the public pressure.

If we pamper them we may have another hijacking and we have to free them.

If your theory is correct (about him being eliminated in a fake encounter) then what makes you as a country different from a terror suspect?
We're learning fast from the tactics adopted by the ISI!! :azn:

he might be somewhere face down in a ditch some where in a navi mumbai sewer .... A la ab tak chappan style.

Relax guys! This was all stage managed! He's either switched sides and become an intel asset or he's gonna be eliminated in a fake encounter. I think it's the latter. :azn:

Or how about neither? Crazy conspiracies are one thing, but this is on a whole different level.

Can't believe no one has blamed the ISI yet.

Fine, I'll do it then. ISI DID IT! MUMBAI POLICE ARE THE BEST TRAINED IN THE WORLD, THEY'RE OBVIOUSLY NOT INCOMPETENT AT THEIR JOBS!

Why would we want to kill him after keeping him in jail for years? Criminals running away at court is not all that uncommon in India, a police failure in this matter very clearly.

I hope he does not manage to kill some innocent people due to this slip up.

Bhai as an institution we have not done too bad against terrorism, given the shytehole neighborhood we live in. But individual failures do happen and we must accept them.

Totally agree with that bhai... if you have seen these accused are brought to the court without handcuffs with one or two consitibles grabbing them with their necks and nothing else.
