@KAL-EL I have always wondered, why are you in a forum centred around South Asian issues ?

I am genuinely curious.

General curiousity, interest in various world affairs and my political science studies play a part. Also to meet new people/friends from other nations, break stereotypes, and educate myself on cultures other than my own.

I know there are some here that unfortunately don't represent their cultures/countries all that well with their very belligerent hyper-nationalistic behavior. At the same time though, I'm so glad I've found many more open minded people to have civilized dialogues with. I'm not the only American here though, so your curiosity is interesting. I hope I answered your question

I have been playing a bit of Arkham city lately, I like that game's version of Bane more than I did the Dark knight rises version.

I know that is heresy, and I still enjoyed Tom Hardy's portrayal, but there is still something about Bane with the Venom drug.

Whilst Joker is the most interesting of all Batman's foes, To me, Bane figures in the top three list of favorite Batman villains.

Also wanted to add that I know there are some people that come here and try to influence others on what to think..To try and get them on their side of a particular issue. I'm not one of those people (as I'm sure you've figured out by now) I didn't come here to try to change the hearts and minds of anyone.

People are going to think what they want to think about Americans, and there is nothing I can do about that. I'm just glad I've met many here that realize not all Americans think and act the same. Just like I know not everyone thinks and acts the same from any other country.

As for Batman I have to say I loved Tom Hardy's portrayal. Haven't played Arkham City all that much, but I do also really like Bane with the drug. The joker has also been a very fascinating villain to me. He has no powers, yet he has the power to inflict such a huge amount of terror on people.
