Turkish Missile Programs

MBDA carried out two successful guided firings by the Sea Ceptor air defence system on 29th May and 5th June at the land-based Vidsel range facilities in Sweden. These firings were the first seeker guided firings for the Common Anti-air Modular Missile (CAMM), including using its two-way data link to communicate with the Sea Ceptor system.

The trial demonstrated the functionality of Sea Ceptor’s Command and Control (C2) system and its ability to process data from a third party radar and then command an engagement by a CAMM missile.

The CAMMs both performed as expected, with their active Radio Frequency (RF) seeker acquiring the targets shortly after launch and staying in track until they intercepted their respective targets.

CAMM is to be used by the Royal Navy and Royal New Zealand Navy in the Sea Ceptor system and the British Army with the Future Local Area Air Defence System (FLAADS) Land system.


It would be revealed into market at similar years When Hisar-A is also matured for serial production.

Turkish industry have two smart munition project proceeding in parallel with eachothers.

Roketsan MSM: A 25kg munition that is aimed to integrate on ANKA and ANKA-TP UAV's. MSM is based on Mizrak-U missile design and Cirit lazer seeker head.

Aselsan/Tubitak SAGE MBP: A new smart munition (to be an equivalent of GBU-53) that is aimed to deploy on F-16 and F-4 fighters to neutralize strategic but smaller targets. This project commenced in 2012 and have a schedule of 60 months. MBP project's cost contains development of multiple bomb carriage as well.

HİSAR-O test atışlarına başlıyor

Kara Kuvvetleri Komutanlığı'nın orta irtifa hava savunma ihtiyacını karşılamak üzere geliştirme çalışmaları devam eden Hisar-O projesi kapsamında ilk test atışı 22-24 Temmuz tarihleri arasında gerçekleştirilecek.

Kara Kuvvetleri Komutanlığı'nın orta irtifa hava savunma ihtiyacını karşılamak üzere ASELSAN ve ROKETSAN firmalarının ortaklığıyla geliştirme çalışmaları devam eden Hisar-O projesi kapsamında ilk test atışının Tuz Gölü'nün güneyinde Savunma Sanayii Müsteşarlığı'na tahsis edilen alanda 14 bin feet (4 bin 200 metre) yükseklikte gerçekleştirilmesi planlanıyor. Test atışlarının yapılması planlanan bölgede 6 Ekim 2013 tarihinde Alçak irtifa hava savunma sistemi Hisar-A'nın da deneme atışları yapılmıştı.

Asgari Menzil: 3 km
Azami Menzil: 16 km
İrtifa: 50-10.000m
