er you might wanna change the title to " pakistan to form its own PPL league ". Anyways this is a wasted speculation at best given the current security situation

foreign player aayenge khelne? its not easy to organise event like IPL.
yes,you can organise maches abroad till the situation gets normal in pak.
I highly doubt that pakistani business giants can spend more money than the Indian ones to 'beat' IPL.

dude there are foreigners living in pakistan, have you ever been to islamabad...

our last austialian cricket coach threated that he will not leave the country....

and plus the attacks in lahore were carried out by indians..... to malign pakistan....

we would definitely provide them the best security utilizing our commandos and special forces

have them insured against attacks if any attacks occurs we would pay out millions dollar to each player.. and plus provide incentive of $$$ ( you know the saying Risk and Reward Go Hand in Hand..

i have business plan which will allow greater capital then IPL league i can't Divulge such secrets to our rivals...

our main recruiting aim would be to scout domestic players like in the states and so there is durability and profitability...etc..

no doubt about providing world class security. but, its about foreign players mentality and their mindset that tour will not be safe and they got example of sri lankan team.

do you think if you say'we'll give you billian dollars if ,by chance you get killed in terrorist attack' and they will say'ok, we'll come and play'

as I said, there is no doubt that you guys can organise the tounament like IPL but the venue will be outside Pakistan till the situation gets normal.

i remember the idea of PPL (Pakistan Premier League) that is almost scapped after the attacks on Sri Lankan Cricket team. That one attack destroyed the whole cricket in Pakistan

In PPL there were supposed to be some foreign players also and i liked the idea of that tournament but later on since no foreign players wants to visit Pakistan........ it was never given a go ahead

Theres no point in organizing a PPL other than the T20 games we used to have locally before (even before the IPL) between the cities, we already have a tournament, except that foreign players were never invited.

Actually IPL would not have been as famous as other regional games if the non-South Asian teams were any good at T20 and would've seriously promoted the game.

Improving our national tournaments is very important today given that the trend of restricting Pakistani cricket is growing. Historically India was Pakistan's closest ally in cricket, but this particular incident is definitely going to damage ties and the next given chance Pakistan would screw them over too, so expect even less cricket for Pakistan except for world cups, champions trophies and Dubai sponsored games.

Getting one or two international caliber players would be good in these national teams but I see the Indians trying to mess it up, by organizing the IPL at the same time or putting it in their lucrative IPL contracts that they can't play for Pakistani leagues, and other cheap shots like that.

ICL also had international player. but it did not survive. It is all about money and business.

hero made the point i wanted to.

T20 is successful in India coz of 3 Factors :

#1. Money : Huge Sums, and Who has More than th BCCI ?

#2. Control over ICC : ICC has full blessings to IPL, unlke ICL which is not recognised.

#3. The Local Enthusiam : The People of India who believe in Cricket as Religion.

India is ONE and ONLY Country in World to have All the 3 in Highest Magintute.

Pakitstan has tremendous love for Cricket but the #1 and #2 will hinder the T20 success there.

Cricket in Kabul.

Epic joke is epic.
Maybe 20 years from now it would be a good idea though...maybe...

How about to start International Cricket League (ICL) sponsered by Pakistani & Arab financial giants in Abu-Dhabi.
