Well so far, it is quite clear people from both sides want both the govt. to interact with each other and not break diplomatic ties. World is full of optimist people, what can I say..

@levina :P :P :P
Lol
I had tagged only those who responded to thread and not those who gave likes to my post.
I am not sure if those who gave likes are all senior members on the forum and if they'll be able to vote.
Even if the answer was No, it means ppl are optimistic that issues between Pak and India can be resolved peacefully by engaging in talks...which I think is a good sign. :-)

I confess that I agree to every point you've raised, just that after the recent turn of events I've completely given up on "peace talks", talks have been happening since long but it has not achieved anything tangible. Premiers of both the countries are making sincere attempts to bring peace, but ofcourse somebody doesnt want it to happen and would go to any extent to keep both the countries on tenter-hooks.
I do not see a better solution than what I have suggested in my OP.
Well i wont like to give up just yet. Will keep doing whatever i can contribute, even if it is merely well wishes,,
:)
Listen, Pakistan will always be my priority, do not want peace talk compromising any national interest, Kashmir is a will remain the key issue, that needs to be resolved. No matter how much we differ on the solution there cannot be any sane argument on whether we want a solution or not, we do! So yes, my priority will be Pakistan but it will be prosperity or my country and not destruction of India. When our majority will come on term with that things will change i hope.

This " chlo hm haar gy tu khair ha,, India b tu bahir ho gya" attitude need to change (and i say this accepting the fact that when India loses a match it do not makes me sad)

Better than nothing. Plus, it is good enough. The whole of Karakorum is dangerous, gotta do what we gotta do.
So my point still makes sense that you need keep your option open when it comes to Afghanistan and Iran since Karakorum is just one of the ways you will access Central Asia.

Replace Pakistan by India in your post and it becomes my opinion.
I am not against prosperity of Pakistan (nothing in my OP suggests that) but I would not support anything that hinders my country's progress and that will remain my priority.
As far as Kashmir issue is concerned then we should not be obfuscating this matter further or we will have to pay a heavy price for it....when I said we I meant your country and mine.

I understand! :)
Thing is, no matter how much we agree the need for a resolution, it wont come unless majority in convinced. After that will come the actually important task of finding an agreeable solution, as of now, we are not even sure if we want to resolve it or not, there is a large number of people who are not sure!

We already have access to Central Asia, @Arsalan could you please post images, i can't seem to find them. We don't necessarily need Afghanistan route, we are already trading via land with Central Asia, through China. I can't find those images, maybe @Atanz can help too.

I am not sure what map you are exactly asking for but yes we do have access to central Asia via more then one route. The one passing through China is known to all, here this is one:

A very viable one is the RCD/ECO route linking to Turkey via Iran and from there to EU.

Ignore the writings on the map, don't know how old or new these are

The one passing through Afghanistan is not of much use in current situation of Afghanistan.

That will give an idea about the % of ppl who favor this idea.
Sorry for the incovenience caused.

I voted "Yes".

Yes Modi should have balls to implement the following:

No contact whatsoever with Pakistan. Total ban of imports and exports. No diplomatic relations. No cricket matches. No movies and dramas .

this is what @levina the OP wanted. and I'm happy to oblige.

Now let's see if Bahrati nationalists can actually put their mouths where their money is,

We shalt see.
