"Western Kurdistan" is Northern Syria as they refer. They refer to the map you have posted as "Northern Kurdistan"

Well, i don't wanna discuss this for the hundred time. I don't care what you call Azeris or their lands. Azeris sees themselves as Turks, they speak Turkish and they are from Oghuz Branch of the Turkic family tree just like us.

Azerbaijan and Azerbaijan republic and all of Caucasus are Iranian lands that Russian empire has separated from Iran. Moreover West Turkey (Kurdistan) is our forefather land for thousands of years.

History lesson:

There is no such thing called South Azerbaijan. The word Azerbaijan itself derives from Satrap (province) of Atropatene in Achaemenid Empire, Median empire and Sassanid empire and its ancient capital, Ganzak is now situated in modern day Iran.

Thanks to Incompetence of Qajar dynasty, what today is called Republic of Azerbaijan was separated by Russia and later became an independent country and all of us got over it and now recognize Republic of Azerbaijan as a sovereign nation.
