Which country will win the most medals?

Which country will win the most medals?
Is that even a question? It will be like always ie india way first followed by Pakistan. The trend in south asian games is: the bigger you are in size the more medals you get!

'Bring on the challenge' our dear immediate neighbors.:D

Last games Bangladesh bagged more medals than you guys though, so you never know, the trend might buck this time.

Its not that you can send as many participants as you wish based on population. There is a limit.

That was on home turf though. Countries traditionally perform better at events which they are hosting. The SA games prior to Dhaka 2010 was hosted by Sri Lanka and the medal table for those games looks much different.

Size of talent pool does come in to play a lot though.. With massive population to choose from the odds are you're bound to get more medals, And remember this is across the board not specific to certain sports like world cups

Never denied that.

Countries traditionally perform better at events which they are hosting.
This is because more than usual participants get to take part from host country.

Hope BD surpasses their last time performance to surprise the host adverse spectators.

Don't worry they wont.

There's maybe a small chance you will displace Pakistan consistently to be fixed 2nd place when you finally win a medal in the olympics one of these years.....(or maybe decades from now who knows).

It is really a good descison to host it at the NE region...At least couple of sports like Atelatics, Boxing and Footbal seems to be popular in NE so you can expect a good crowd participation....And any way, the major attraction of SAF games is the India and Pakistan hockey match...That makes the day for South Asia games...
