JF-17 Thunder Multirole Fighter [Thread 7]

Actually PAC use various labelling schemes during different phases of construction

We have seen FC 10Xxxx used before on Block I is shown here from a few years ago

SP37 is serial production 37
FC10137

So FC10232 is going to be
SP32 or in the case of Block II 2P-32

So we can say that we have identified 32 x Block II units by Sep 2016 when this video was shot

thnx a lot for clarification ....

can you share the link of the video ... ??

thnx in advance

Total Capacity 24/25 per year 16 for paf rest for export and this can be adjusted , my guess

Export order first delivery 24 months after order it can be just flight of 4 aircraft with rest delivered in batches so 16 for customer plus 3 for Nigeria will be delivered between 2017-2018 again my guess

Export capacity 8-9 aircraft at min. Per year

A rare unmarked JF-17, it's said to be under test after being upgraded to Block-2 standard before being delivered to a unit.

its an old program released in September but must be recorded 1-2 month earlier then September .... current serial should be near or above 35

Worth noting is the 3rd pic of 229 and its hardpoints.

I think these are ECM systems of the KG series on both pylons.

I believe its the first time we are seeing these in PAF service.

The parts which come from China are labelled with the FC series, in China JF-17 is known as FC-1.

4.5 Gen aircrafts like Rafale, EF, SU35 etc have 11 to 13 hard points.

This is F-18 carrying 8 Aim-120 and 2 Aim-9. Thats a great use of dual racks.

Such a setup could increase JF-17 SD-10 payload.

Probably Mid air refuelling is just one way to keep JF-17 in air for a long time. Addition of CFT would have been great but then take off weight would also need to be considered.

Excellent point. I second your stance.

The Ideal load for JFT with dual racks with 4 (on dual racks) WVR & 6 BVR (4 on dual & 2 on wing tips).

They have been tested onboard FC-1.

Please share or source link here.

As I was.discussing with someone jf is light weight class like jas39 and not meant to be f15 so leave it and do not try to make it something it never meant to be

4 BVR plus two sraam plus 2/3 drops is good enough, f16 radar has 6 on 6 capability so 6 BVR max same way jf new radar has 4 on 4 so max 4 BVR

Nose cone does not come from.chaina plus it's pasted with a tape and paper sticker do e s jot look like very formal labeling

PAC Kamra busy manufacturing JFT block II aircraft.
