An Intelligence Based Operation was conducted to clear a Terrorists hideout linked with firing incidents targeting civilians & security forces and also planting improvised explosive devices on M-8 in area of Hoshab, Balochistan. As security forces were in process of establishing blocking positions after identification of 12 to 14 terrorists location, terrorists opened fire on security forces.

During ensuing heavy exchange of fire, 10 terrorists have been killed, 1 injured terrorist apprehended two terrorists escaped, operation to trace them continues. A heavy cache of arms & ammunition including IED’s have been recovered.

Security forces, in step with the nation, remain determined to thwart attempts at sabotaging peace, stability & progress of Balochistan.
