Afghan soldier kills two NATO troops at protest

My question still stands. What is more important, the Teachings or the physical manifestation of that - the paper book? If its the latter, doesnt it amount to idolatry - going against the very tenets of Islam?

FYI, Christianity thrived not because people waged a "jihad" against the Bible burning, Prophet killing Romans, but because of their belief in the teachings of Jesus Christ.

And what does it say about people who ignore the real teachings and message of Prophet Mohammad but react to burning a bunch of paper?

Of course the teachings of the Holy Book are important than, as you put it , The paper Book. But what message does it give out about the respect of Those Teachings if sm1 burns them without even adhering or consulting what The Holy Book realy has to offer.
Yes the misinterpretation of the Teachings of Holy Quran is alot to blame, but isnt the phenomenon of misinterpreting Holy Quran being misunderstood from those who seek to burn it just to entice or make a mockery of Religious Sentiments.

IMHO this act was intentionally done on the ISAF's behalf, When wondering in the land full of Fanatics , one cannot afford to do such. And no human conscious can allow the intentional burning of a Book.!
