Everyone of us has heard about ALEXANDER the great....

we are very familiar with the story of King porus and Alexander in which the so called ALEXANDER the GREAT made porus to bow in front of him........

Now listen the truth:

1. Alexander was a homosexual and had a personal hemaphodite (chakka , shemale) at his camp..

2.THE forces of Alexander were never homesick he used to send a portion of army to Greece every month with the loot he got
and replaced them with new ones....

3. Porus original name was purshottam. HE WAS 7feet 6 inches tall.....

4. Upto that time only INDIANS used elephants in war..... They used to crush the cavalary

5. Alexander has also heard from his wife Roxxane , ( daughter of a Bactrian noble Oxyartus ), that the the Nandas of the Magadha Kingdom had 6000 war elephants ( count by Plutarch ) and the Emperor Chandragupta Maurya of the Mauryan Empire had 9000 war elephants. They also had hordes of Tibetan Mastiff dogs who could kill leopards and whip up a booming barking frenzy which terrified men and horses.

6.They could also swing heavy iron spiked balls held by chains with their trunks to swipe at horses, who would be terrified by the elephants sights and sounds in any case. The elephant is a more intelligent animal than a horse in a dynamic battle. If an elephant is wounded in battle it becomes very proactive and fearsome.

7.alexander was totally defeated ....he lost his horse which he used for 10 years

8.porus just had 85 elephants and Alexander was routed badly.

9. he sent Roxana his wife tie a rakhi on Porus, to be his sister--an old Indian custom. It now became Porus's responsibility to ensure Alexander was safe-- an iron clad guarantee.

10. Then porus spared his life and they became good friends

Then On his Way Home, He was Attacked by The Rajputs of Bhaderwah, and he was hit by a Poisonous Arrow, which killed him., but his Generals feared that his Death will create Panic in his forces, so they spread the Rumor that Alexender is Sick and when his army reached Babylon they declared Alexender dead., There are more then 50 Books written by different Historians from both India and Greece which support this claim..

this Myth is being propagated by Communists and Anti-Sanantanis to show the Followers of Sanantan Dharma as weak., but the Truth is out now..

And then pigs started flying with the help of King Porus.

some of the info is quite wrong..there is dispute about Alexander's win against King Puru(most probably Alexander won in that battle, but was seriously injured and lost Bucephalus)..but I never heard about Roxxane tied Rakhi to Puru..plus,even if defeated,Alexander had more than enough strength to return home safely without Puru's help..thats hilarious...also,from where the hell Rajputs came into Punjab region??also, its well known that Alexander died in Alexandria, not in India..its true that King Dhana Nanda had around 6000 war elephents, but Chandragupta Maurya only came after King Dhana Nanda and well after Alexander went back home..also,Porus was tall(claimed by historian as a tall man,as tall as 6.5 to 7 feet).but 7'6'' feet??? :cheesy:

I was in Pathankot last November. teachers from a very from a very famous collage were accompanying my team to a temple in Kangda district I believe. There was river flowing very near to the temple. They explained us that Alex was unable to cross the river & returned from the other side of temple. I don't remember the discussion fully. Any one from that location can confirm the same. This place Pathankot is 3 hours journey from Amritsar from where I returned to Mumbai next day late evening by Golden Temple mail. I don't know whether it was true or not but worth listening the pieces of our collective history.
There were two dieties in the temple 1 Lord RAMA & 1 Lord Shiva & Devi Parvati. Even more interesting was that Shivling is broken in two during whole year, but when Shivratri comes It becomes one. I have pics in my lappy but our team members are also in the pics, so can't post. If anyone else has visited there can post the pics.

This one beats Viagra.

Alexander lost to Porus and the analysis point to that fact.

Alexander was injured in Multan present day Pakistan and was hit by an arrow, this is mentioned in the history told by Greeks. This is the main reason for the death of Alexander.

It is nonsense and stupidity untill u agree on something ! Open your eyes buddy . History is not what written with biased ideology ! What they wrote may be not true ...

Exactly the point I want to make is that Indians irrespective of religions should know their glorious past and scientific achievement and then from there they have to move forward towards great future.

Westerners have only 6 to 7 centuries of scientific advancements But this land has Thousands of years of Scientific and Philosophical progress.

Indians should not be ashamed of their past as suggested by British, Instead they should be proud of the ancient achievements when they present them selves in the world stage.

& why is it so? I neither claimed it is true nor I am saying it's God' written. What I have stated is my own personal interaction with local people & what I have seen from my own eyes. Even I have given location as well. It's really easy for you to reject anything which doesn't suits your taste.

Alexander couldn't cross the Ganga as Nanda Empire as well as Gangaridai Empire fortified the banks of Ganga..now,you can't assault a heavily fortified enemy having a joint force of 20,000 horse 200,000 infantry, 2,000 chariots and 4,000 elephants trained and equipped for war(Gangaridai Empire) and 200,000 infantry, 80,000 cavalry, 8,000 war chariots, and 6,000 war elephants(Nanda Empire) by mounting an Amphibious Assault via crossing the Ganga, not in that age,not without a hundreds of thousands of soldiers and tens of thousands of cavalry...

I believe that local person had told me that it was River Ravi(as I said I don't remember exact words). Besides there is no Ganga river in Pathankot or Kangda If I am correct. Your other details are correct though.

That river is visible from the Temple as it is very close.

Most interesting is

They also had hordes of Tibetan Mastiff dogs who could kill leopards and whip up a booming barking frenzy which terrified men and horses.

where I can get this dog today ? :cheesy:
means 2 of them can easily kill a lion :omghaha:

Glad to hear Indians finally have some history to be proud of. Even if it happened 2000 years ago in modern-day Pakistan.

How idiotic you are ! Stop ridiculing yourself comrade. Don't comment on something which you do not even understand.

That happened in age old India and there were no Muslims in those days !
