Good call. Very respected in the Syrian army and also the same sect as Assad. I think for Syria's sake Assad needs to get replaced, his name has become hard to defend and a new leader at this stage could delay the US and Israels plan and esp their propaganda.

Assad is 52. Assad can run for 1 more term expiring in 2028. I think by then he will retire to Sochi beaches.
