At least 75 killed in bomb blast at Quetta Hospital

Suicide blast targeting lawyers, media men at Quetta civil hospital leaves 20 dead.

QUETTA (Web Desk) – At least twenty people including lawyers and media men have been killed and more than twenty injured in a powerful blast at the Civil Hospital in Quetta on Monday morning, Dunya News reported.
People in large number including lawyers and journalists had arrived at the Emergency Ward after slain Balochistan Bar Association President Bilal Anwar Kasi‘s body was shifted to the hospital.
A cameraman of Aaj TV was among those killed in the incident, whereas , Dunya News reporter Faridullah and ex-BBA president Taj Mohammad Kakar was also among the injured people.

Soon after the explosion, a heavy contingent of security personnel arrived at the hospital and cordoned off the blast site.
Balochistan Bar Association President Bilal Anwar Kasi was gunned down in Quetta earlier today.
According to police, Kasi’s car came under attack on Manu Jan Road in the city. The assailants were riding a motorbike and could not be identified immediately.
