well second phase began this saturday. it was just a one liner so i didnt post it here.

Azam-e-Nau-3 exercises enter into second phase

JHELUM: With the start of the second phase of the Pakistan Army’s exercises named Azam-e-Nau-3, the troops of the Blue land and the Fox land are engaged in a fierce battle, and the enemy started forward movement to occupy Pakistani land on Monday. However, Pakistan force stood like a wall and also sought the assistance of the Pakistan Air force to counter the enemy’s attack.
All these scenes were witnessed during the second phase of the military’s exercise in Gujranwala and Jhelum. About twenty thousand soldiers are participating in the exercises during this phase.
According to sources, the Chief of the Army Staff, General Ashfaq Pervez Kayani also witnessed the ongoing exercises in Gujrat and Jalalpur Jataan. He also met with the Army officers and soldiers and expressed his satisfaction over their professional capabilities and preparedness. On the occasion, the Corps Commander Lieutenant General Nadeem Ahmad gave a detailed briefing to the COAS. The Pakistan Airforce is also taking part in the second phase of the Azam-e-Nau 3 and the military is fully demonstrating its capabilities. In this phase, all formations and units of the Army are participating. –Agencies

COAS witnesses troops engaged in Azm-e-Nau III exercise

ISLAMABAD, Apr 27 (APP): Chief of Army Staff, General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani witnessed troops conducting second phase of Exercise Azm-e-Nau III. Gen. Kayani witnessed a number of logistic and operational activities of the troops of Northern Command, including river crossing by Armour Combat Groups, an ISPR news release on Tuesday said.

The Chief of Army Staff appreciated the dedication and professionalism of the participants. Fighter Jets of Pakistan Air Force also took part in the exercise.

Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Rao Qamar Suleman, was also present at the occasion.

@i think this exercise must have been done near central punjab sides.....
as the terrain resembles very much like somewhat today's lahore's and sialkot's outskirt
