If you like it or not this corrupt practice has come from India and some corrupt converted hindus has still maintained this practice in muslim countries like Bangladesh. But the problem is so severe in India regarding this dowry. In Bangladesh voice should be raised against this hinduani chaal.

I dont think bangladesh has too many "pure" muslims. Most of them are corrupt converted hindus.

Ahh..let us not get disheartened.I am sure many men share the same line of thinking like her.
I can remember there was a dowry case in India some 8-10 years back which was highly publicized on TV.The groom-side asked and got a couple of ACs,a car loads of cash and jewelry,some TVs,not only for the groom but also for his relatives!!And then they ask for another car.The bride says,thats enough and calls the police.The groom goes to jail along with his relatives.

The girl's family was the flooded with requests for marriage.

Nothing to do with Hinduism in particular.We see that happening in BD,and of course,if you know about your own country then you will know that it is prevalent in Pakistan very much.Cases of dowry can also be noticed in China,Central Asia,Africa and East Europe.I cant remember of any more dowry cases,but there has to be more.
