@Asim - we can sit around here trading flak all day and learn nothing new on this case or do nothing to solve the problem of terrorism.
There is the problem of trust. We don't trust you and you don't trust us.
We think you want to destroy us and you think that we want to destroy you. What is true ? Both of us want to destroy each other ?! Lets get on with it then - why these small bomb blasts and niggly gunmen. Lets fight a war to the end ;)

Point is that if there is a credible link to Pakistan - it's good if Pakistan investigates it proves it to be wrong or otherwise. So far there's no link in this case - but there has been past record of Pakistani involvement in attacks on India. If you are wake up with boils on your legs and in the past it has always been the mosquitoes who were responsible - will you blame the mosquitoes or look for new suspects like bed bugs etc. (my gawd... i've lost it :))
I hope you get my point. Pakistani groups have been operating in India. FACT. They have carried out many blasts and on such targets. Hence they will be suspected. Didnt you catch LeT members involved in 26/11 ? Did'nt you admit that Pakistanis were involved. Let me tell you no one will hate you for admitting some Pakistanis were involved. I'm not saying your army or ISI is involved.. I'm not saying you are involved. Indians realise Pakistani people are not responsible - they have better things to do. There is a lunatic fringe interested in destroying India.

Out of 9 killed 2 are foreigners - confirmed in Press conferenceby Pune Police commisioner. One Iranian student is dead
@Asim - maybe you can identify people after looking at their arms and legs in 12 hours.. the Indian police cannot. I think they are incompetent and need some more training ;)

Come fight then, we have never said we want to destroy India. We want Kashmir, thats it. Pakistan is waiting for Indian attack for a long time now. Unless the plan was to bore us to death, I don't think an Indian attack is going to happen.

Walk your looooooooooooooooong talk.

haha man.. Asim - here we go again. We say terror you say Kashmir.. it's endless.. lets wait for the world to end - we'll still be bickering!
On the topic - Btw the Indian media has been told to stop interviewing the injured by the Commissioner so the investigation is not jeopardized.

I'm not demanding a level of competence from Indians where they have to be perfect off the bat, I'm pissed off why are they always the sort to resort to conjecture and speculation.

Dare I say it, it's almost like when Indians are killed in such incidents, there's a select group in India that is gleeing "Ah, now we can pin something on Pakistan".

Let me tell you how it works.

The CAA and FAA authorities, both which operate in Pakistan, have mandated the use of Suspiciously Designated Nationals (SDN) lists. So has Dubai, and I'm pretty sure so has India. Compliance is MANDATORY.

All incoming and outgoing passengers are checked. If he escaped, he must've taken a flight to Dubai where he'd be picked up if he was a known terrorist and not accused as one in a few hours after the attack.

If somehow Dubai missed it then Pakistan would've caught him

If Pakistan wanted to cheat, then it can't cheat without the complicity of Dubai personnel who would've already tagged him within the CAA database as an outgoing passenger out of Dubai.

If Dubai wanted to cheat, it can't do so without the complicity of Indian officials who should've tagged him as a SDN.

Comprende?

I have designed similar systems and can tell you the intricate details of sophisticaled AI at work, whereby I know that Indian officials need to have some sort of a smoking gun before making that statement and if they did, it wouldn't be mentioned as an after thought in an article.

you are assuming that he traveled as himself.. Forged passports are not only in James Bond movies.. But again, I have never said that there are no corrupt people in India..

The Hindu : Front Page : JuD vows to take Kashmir by force

ISLAMABAD: A day after Islamabad said it was seeking a clarification from New Delhi on the agenda for the proposed Foreign Secretary-level talks, the Jamat-ud-Dawah, front organisation of the Lashkar-e-Taiba, the group blamed for the Mumbai attacks, held a public meeting here vowing to seize Kashmir by force and threatening “rivers of blood” in India.

In Lahore too, the JuD organised a public rally, led by Hafiz Saeed, alleged by India to have masterminded the Mumbai attacks.

The rally went from the JuD headquarters in Chauburji to the University Grounds, where Mr. Saeed led the participants in Friday prayers.

It proceeded to the famous Masjid-e-Shohada on Mall road, where the second tier leadership of the group made anti-India speeches. However, Mr. Saeed did not speak at the public meeting.

The meetings were held alongside other country-wide events to mark Kashmir Solidarity Day, annually observed in Pakistan on February 5. The JuD rally in the capital was held at Aabpara chowk in the heart of the city, a short walk from the barricaded headquarters of the Inter-Services Intelligence.

The JuD is on the United Nations terror list as a front of the LeT, but Pakistan has not banned the group. This is the first time after the Mumbai attacks that the group has come out openly, dropping last year’s cover of “Falah-i-Insaniyat”.

The government, which took some steps against the JuD and placed Hafiz Saeed under house arrest days after the Mumbai attacks, seems to have given it a long rope now.

Friday’s meetings in Islamabad and Lahore followed the one on Wednesday in Muzaffarabad, capital of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir.

In the capital, it was not a crowded meeting, the cold and steady drizzle dampening enthusiasm for the event, but the speakers more than made up for this. Banners and posters with the JuD ensignia were found everywhere.

“Whenever our jihad in Kashmir nears success, India becomes ready for talks,” Abdur Rehman Makki, deputy to JuD leader Hafiz Saeed, told his audience, mostly traders from the local market, students from madrasas and JuD activists bussed in from Rawalpindi.

“But what is this dialogue all about? [Former President Pervez]Musharraf tried dialogue for eight years. What did he get? What did Pakistan get? A ban on Lashkar-e-Toiba, while Shiv Sena is allowed to go free,” he said.

India and the U.S. were trying to make the Kashmir cause a part of the “war on terror,” he said, but if India did not pull out its troops from there, “each one of the 17 crore Pakistanis would struggle step-for-step with the Kashmiris in the massacre of Indian soldiers until the last soldier is dead.”

The JuD, he said, “is a reality of Pakistan, and anyone who tries to finish it will not succeed.”

Mr. Makki also railed against the United Nations and the U.S. “Ban us all you like. It is meaningless. It is no more one Hafiz Saeed, every citizen of Pakistan will fight for Kashmir until the last drop of his blood,” he said.

He warned that jihadis were ready to fill the Ravi river with “blood on the water” to avenge what he alleged was India’s denial of river waters to Pakistan.

“Kashmir had become a cold issue. But by denying Pakistan water, India has ensured that every farmer in Punjab is lining up with his tractor and plough, ready to overrun India.”

At one time, jihadis were interested only in the liberation of Kashmir, but the water issue had ensured that “Delhi, Pune and Kanpur” were all fair targets, he said.

A string of other JuD speakers praised jihad, and urged Pakistanis to take to it in “Kashmir, Afghanistan, Iraq and Palestine.” The Pakistan People’s Party came in for its share of criticism for straying from Zulfikar Ali Bhutto’s promise of a “100-year war” for Kashmir.

The Pakistan Muslim League (N) spokesman Siddique-ul-Farooq, and Sardar Khalid Ibrahim of the “Azad Jammu and Kashmir” Pakistan People’s Party also spoke. at the meeting.

Asim,

What Indians miss out on is the fact that you can fool some of the people some of the time (MUMBAI) but you cannot fool all of the people all of the time (PUNE).

Indian investigators are always quick to find pak-links post 5-minutes incident time and this event is no different.

Seriously, INDIAN anti-Pakistan rant-de-rant is more of BOOLSHEET supreme than anything else.

So c'mon Indians put your money where your mouth is, lets see what action you take not or still be severely impotent as before!!

haha man.. Asim - here we go again. We say terror you say Kashmir.. it's endless.. lets wait for the world to end - we'll still be bickering!
On the topic - Btw the Indian media has been told to stop interviewing the injured by the Commissioner so the investigation is not jeopardized.
And the Indian media will listen...

What we've seen in the past 24 hours is more drama less substance and claim anything there is nobody questioning wrongfully stated facts.

the timings of these bombs are unfortunate and suspicious.

you could easily take the view that these attacks were designed to derail pak/india talks.

therefore who would so such a thing?

i know indians will try through innuendo to implicate pakistan but thats beyond ludicrous, there is simply no way pakistan would support such a thing at such a time!!!

in fact if you look at the domestic situation many many indians are vehemently against talks with pakistan, they would have the greatest reason to derail the talks, not pakistan!

Most of us here havent mentioned Pakistani govt. LeT and IM.. sure.. in all probability its them...But lets wait for some conclusive stuff to come out of investigation....

@XYON, Asim - don't worry India will strike when the time is right.. We don't want our hard work on the economic front to be ruined by war. Forces in Pak know that so they will continue to provoke.
Hitler thought the Western allies and Soviet Union were weak - look what happened in the end. Pak thought India was weak in 1965 and tried to take Kashmir by force - we know who foiled that plan - the tiny weak Lal Bahadur Shastri. We have a lot of fight in us - we don't need to prove it in every instance to you.
Anyways.. i dunno how you misconstrued my statement as an incitment to war. I was being sarcastic.. missed the wink did you!

The funny thing is India has still not confirmed who has died and who has lived in the incident. People are dying and coming to life by the hour! Yet we're supposed to believe their mantra that "ISI did it".

The names and details of 6 dead that have been identified till now have been announced

I love the way the GERMAN BAKERY got bombed is being played up. From the pictures, it was more or less nothing more than a dhaba style place, a very puny insignificant target when it comes to India-Pak affairs.

German Bakery is in most Prime locality of Pune, its in Koregaon Park.
Its frequented by foreigners its very close to Chabad hose and Osho Ashram which s frequented by foreigners.
Please do not comment if you are not aware otherwise it looses its value.

The proposition of war was made by the Indian I was replying to, and has also been made by former Prime Minister, Vajpayee when he declared and I quote "Decisive Action" Would be taken against Pakistan.

We have the right to self-defence.

The Hindu : Front Page : JuD vows to take Kashmir by force
Kashmir is not India. Although we don't support any non-governmental party conducting any violence in Kashmir from Pakistan (they may conduct attacks against the IA from Kashmir though) the government and the army has the people's mandate to take Kashmir by force if possible.

Kashmir is a disputed territory.

BUT Peaceful methods are preferred like granting Kashmiris their right of self-determination.

All triggers of violence is in India. India has occupied Kashmir thereby India is the aggressor of all ensuing events.

Well Asim turns out the "rumours" about foreigners being killed were true after all.. interesting.. you see we have an independent media too .. some of them like spreading some sensational stuff and are in heavy competition with each other to get the BREAKING NEWS. Indian people realise this and take the initial reports with a pinch of salt. It will take time for the media to mature.
