hi

BSF air wing need more power

we have to do more things

jai hind

we already have something called an Air force.
And an Army. and their respective air-wings.

This is not a helicopter give away event.
If BSF needs air support it needs to improve it's communication with the air force.

I don't understand why the BSF even have an air wing.
They should get all such assets through the Army and IAF

coze in emergency situation like casualty emergency force deployment etc... they can not call for very time when they need iaf or army

Then that underlines a Significant weakness in the Lines of communication.

The Three branches of the Military are supposed to work together like Machines.

each cog tuning the other.

War ladies and gents is an Emergency situation.

Of they cant handle working together effectively now.
How will they do so in war.

If that the best reason there is for them having an Air wing then i am very disappointed.

Some one needs to sort this out.

an elaborate anti-Naxal offensive across the country.

The helicopters will be stationed at different locations like Ranchi in Jharkhand and Raipur in Chhattisgarh. "The helicopters would be used both for dropping commandos as reinforcements for the operations and casualty evacuation purposes. They will be at the disposal of the Commander of the operations at Raipur (Chhattisgarh)," CRPF DG A S Gill said.

Three Dhruv Advanced Light Helicopters, inducted in the BSF air wing, have been already been stationed at Ranchi and Raipur. The CRPF has also employed about 80 specialist doctors on a contract basis, who will be part of the anti-Naxal operations.

The move was taken to bring down troop causalities and ensure immediate medical care. The CRPF, which is providing the largest number of central security personnel (about 58,000) for anti-Naxal operations, has employed on contract specialist doctors in orthopaedics, medicine, surgery and opthalmology along with general doctors from states.

Why BSF needs camels?

Why BSF needs patrol boats when there is a Navy?

Why BSF needs weapons when there is Army/Navy/Airforce with them?

Come on..................

BSF is an independent agency.

Apart from Border guarding they are also doing internal duties such as in Kashmir and North East.

Not only BSF but CRPF,ITBP also needs an air wing.

Having its own air wing help these agencies to mobilize faster.

Then why need air wing to Army and Navy as well?

Why Air Force should resever its jets for maritime strike when Navy has its own Jets?

NSG not having their own jets delayed their mobilization and response during 26/11.

There is a huge difference between and Air force and Air wing of other armed divisions.

The Motto of Air force is to maintain Air/Space dominance and protect from foreign intrusion in our Air space.

Whereas, other divisions like Navy, BSF, NSG require air wing for swift operational necessity like close air support and search & evacuation operations.
