Went to Shanghai once and got ripped off big time by asshole taxi driver. Beijing was alright, lots of historic buildings/sites to see. Xi'an was similar to Beijing, except not as crowded. Food in Guangdong is amazing as always.

Hopefully Tibet later this year.

$200 just for a visa is insane
and I have to fill out paper work and what not.

I think I will just go to Malaysia or Hong Kong instead.

What China needs to do is to develop small cities.

i have been to Beijing, shanghai, yantai, penglai.....china has really managed to hold on to its tourist attractions. my experience in china was very good, with friendly people around. no problem.

Penglai? Is the island in Shandong province? Lots of Daoism or Buddhism relics, I guess.

Wish someday I could go.

many Iranian use to travell into the China.China is very pretty.but i couldnt stand chinese foods at all.
