I mean one is Blue, the other is Yellow for Christ sake's- what more do you want?

ha..ha..kalakki..

thousand lies can't stand infront of these pictures.

China needs to be able to build a high-performance carrier aircraft both quickly and with the minimum of funds.

No harm in copying the Flanker airframe.

If Russia is really that upset, it should stop selling engines to China and stop this constant whining!

From the looks outside, the wing tip is different. Besides internal components are different.

If a PC keeps its original shape of the case but changes its internal mobo/ram/cpu/gpu/psu etc., and painted the case yellow, would you call it the same PC?

I would consider it a "modified", "custom made" or an "upgraded" PC.

So it a copy, then? The money spend on this plane will regenerate into our own economy and military sector. It's better than just buy and let the other spend your money without any benefit to your own R&D sector, right?

Of course, of course. If the law doesn't suit you, go ahead, disregard it, do exactly as you please, and watch confidence grow.

is Su-30MKI a copy of Su-33? is Su-30mk2 a copy of Su-27sk?
same thing as J-15.

MKI is a derivative. significant changes were made at the request of the IAF. Thereafter, there were whole aircraft imports and kit assemblies. Every plane assembled in India is paid for; that is the difference.

China has rejected reports that its new
aircraft carrier-borne fighter jet J-15 was copied
from US technology. Defence ministry spokesman Geng Yansheng said
China had stuck to independent innovation and
had the capacity to build and develop its own
aircraft carrier. "The assertion that China copied a foreign
country's aircraft carrier technology is
unprofessional, if not an intentional attack," he
was quoted as saying by the Global Times Friday. China successfully conducted its first landing of a
J-15 on its aircraft carrier, Liaoning, Nov 24. The spokesman said a "very transparent attitude
was taken amid the landing exercises", and that
China released the news in a timely manner. China wants to become a maritime power to
enhance its capacity to exploit marine resources,
develop marine economy, safeguard the
country's maritime rights and interests, and
ensure a sustainable economic and social
development, Geng said.

China says new jet not copied from US
