China's large passenger plane catches attention at Farnborough Air Show

Okay Great work done by our Chinese brothers within the Aviation field. The Chinese aircrafts will compete within the international market. This will lower the prices of the Western commercial aircrafts as well as their supremacy........:smokin:

I think Pakistan and Iran could take this jetliner into consideration after it has been tested with a good safety record in China's domestic market. :coffee:

There is not enough engineering and R&D investment resources to tackle both military and civilian aviation at the same time. All of Korea's available engineering and financial resources are committed into military aviation for now(KFX, local attack helicopter, combat drones, etc).

how come China can,and at the same time China sent men and women up to the space, sent a submersible to the bottom of the sea to break world record, launched numerous satelites to creat China's own GPS....you always sound like you mighty Korea can do anything.

Ha Ha. Why only pakistan and iran ? just coz PDF members or respective country share good raport? or because they have built this aircraft to please its allies?

Its bout business buddy and just compare China - India trade to China - pakistan and iran combined.

Chinese sellers would run for indian buyers owing to the vastness of Indian Aviation.

What he did was nothing more than an ignorant and baseless jab at a US ally at the expense of truth and logical thinking. He is ignorant in that a 'certification' is not a 'law'. A certification is a declaration that something is good enough to do this or that based upon reasons A through Z. It has no enforcement other than through persuasion. It is up to the government to make legal enforcement based upon this certification, not the engineers who established the reasons A-Z.

If South Korea had only copied the FAA standards and called it South Korea's own it would have made no difference. He would have taken the same jab from a different direction. The irony here is that the Chinese probably did exactly just that but never made public about it.

enforcement of us lawz?

comon just bcoz Chines certificates are as good as us that does not mean they hv copied it 4m u
its like saying every clock in the world is chines coz china invented clock system.

good to see an ally taking jabs 4 others, appreciate ur loyalty.

Who ever ordered them, must be having guts if steel..

China has the world highest reliability rate in rocket launching, and airplanes are no more sophisticated than satelites launching.

But rockets are used rarely and planes are used a lot. Planes carry carry people hence, the need to be reliable and safe.

Please...What civilian aviation industry did China have before reformation? Zilch. And am not talking about state owned airline. There is nothing wrong with copying from the American FAA's standards and certifications for civilian aircrafts. China may have to modify some conditions to suit China's own civilian airspace, clients, passengers, and so on...But when you have the basics already available why bother to replicate the wheel? So if you are going to poke at US, have the balls to do so and leave our allies alone.

GE Capital Aviation is an aircraft leasing company that is leasing it back to Chinese airlines. GE has no intention of leasing C919 to its US customers and it is not even legally possible to do so.

As for Southeast Asian countries, I didn't see any listed.

So C919 is a 100% Chinese domestic affair.

We have our own Bank to do the leasing domestically already.

ABC Leasing signs agreement of 45 C919 orders with COMAC__Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, Ltd.

GE has their own business plan and they have to forget about leasing to Chinese airliners. Our commerical planes MA-60 have a gaining track record of sales to overseas customers:

Regarding our Commercial Planes certification. Hereunder is a disclosure:

FAA to accept type certification on ARJ21-700 - China Civil Aviation

We are coming along a lot better than the notorious China bashers! We will get there faster and more confidently than you expect!

impressive chinese aviation industry.............but selling a plane is not the the only way to build a brand ,there are other stuff such as ease of maintance, operational costs, availability of spares.........boeing and airbus have proven themselves, it will take time for china to reach there but am sure it would ,hopefully not late or after a mishap.......

China sells more product that any other countries in the world and that says a lot of things.

Some sissies just cannot get over that fact. This is going to an Asian century indeed and Americans' best days are just gone, never coming back.
