Chinese CH-47 Chinook exposed

I dont quite understand why PLAAF would bother with making military Ch-47 copies.

It would be far better to copy the Mi 26. Modernize it, make it more reliable, more maintenance friendly.

Infact I dont quite get why IAF is buying Ch-47's in the first place for heavy lift. Rather IAF would have bought modernized and customized versions of Mi 26 to get around the issue of low service rate of the Mi 26 fleet.

Mi 26 is heads and shoulders more practical than Ch-47 in heavy lift role.

I do not agree with that proposition; and have explained the reasons why..........on
some other threads in this forum.

Indeed you are navie and double standard. End of the day you still fall from your high horse. To try paint India as a one off incident and then think India are exempt from your tainted eye shows you got an agenda.

Does this mean India just a one off copy incident? No, in fact. Its a limitation of their technology that they are not able to RE large number of military equipment rather than its their choice not too.

And you are ignoring many fact that China has started to get self sufficient and able to produce many local product like J-20, WZ-10 , Type052C destroyer, Type054A frigate.

Dude when we can send something to Mars doesnt your Hi IQ mind get that we can easily RE a lot of things we want..I mean what technical expertise do we need to copy a Humvee or proudce digi camo and make our soldiers look like Joes.

If you are so technically sound why cant your engineers make a new design?Forget about innovatring something out of this world.

If your nation aims at being a world leader then be a world leader in everything...comparing yourself to india can win you a debate on PDF but does jack to change your image world wode of a technology stealing nation.

^ China improve its innovation capability everyday, it's only the beginning.

Becuase they have other things to show their innovation and not involved in 100% cheating..Can you?
100% cheating? That's simply a pathetic belief on your part.

Like I said, you comfort yourself that all China does is cheat to get ahead, without looking at any objective measures (or purposely filtering them out). Thus, you will always eat China's dust on technological development. Actually, do keep your head in the sand while we leap ahead.

Why do you persists in believing such nonsense despite ample evidences to the contrary?

By the beginning of 1945 it was obvious to von Braun that Germany would not achieve victory against the Allies, and he began planning for the postwar era. Before the Allied capture of the V-2 rocket complex, von Braun engineered the surrender of 500 of his top rocket scientists, along with plans and test vehicles, to the Americans. For fifteen years after World War II, von Braun would work with the U.S. Army in the development of ballistic missiles.

Because of the intriguing nature of the V-2 technology, von Braun and his chief assistants achieved near-celebrity status inside the American military establishment. As part of a military operation called Project Paperclip, he and his "rocket team" were scooped up from defeated Germany and sent to America where they were installed at Fort Bliss, Texas. There they worked on rockets for the U.S. Army, lauching them at White Sands Proving Ground, New Mexico. In 1950 von Braun's team moved to the Redstone Arsenal near Huntsville, Alabama, where they built the Army's Jupiter ballistic missile, and before that the Redstone, used by NASA to launch the first Mercury capsules. In 1960 his rocket development center transferred from the Army to the newly established NASA and received a mandate to build the giant Saturn rockets, the largest of this family of launchers that eventually put an American on the Moon. Accordingly, von Braun became director of NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center and the chief architect of the Saturn V launch vehicle, the superbooster that propelled Americans to the Moon in the 1960s and early 1970s.

The design is not important, why you try to design new one when you get mature one on hand. Call it copy or not, the most important it serves our interest. You wanna some copyright fees from China?

I know your comment was to Oldman1. For me though, I have no need for copyright fees. I would be more than happy to accept your excellent Chinese food as payment :-)

The better question is how far does China actually need to go before it can no longer be accused of "copying" by a bunch of anonymous Indian trolls on the internet?

Would any of these concepts below be enough?

Does China have to build the Dragon Gunship from James Cameron's Avatar?

Or does China have to go up to Star Trek Into Darkness level?

It doesn't really matter. Mercedes invented the car with 4 wheels, an engine, etc...so everyone copied Germany for car design.

Let them cry all they want as long as we don't need to pay license fees. Most importantly, reverse engineering is NOT an easy task. It takes a lot of knowledge, ingenuity and highly educated scientists to do the work.

Indians would be doing it if it was that easy, but they have low IQ so they have to buy, buy, buy

Depends on what they plan to use it for. IF heavy lift of cargo, or vehicles is required, the Mi 26, the CH 53 are in clear advantage and that's why IAF should had gone with a real heavy lifter too. But if they want to use it as a bigger troop transporter in higher numbers and want to carry heavier loads externally only, the Ch47 offers similar capabilities.

The Russians actually proposed a partnershipt for the Mi 26T2, but didn't worked out so far.

You might want to compare it with the Sikorsky X2 and the Eurocopter X3.

Dude when we can send something to Mars
Who cares. You Indians can't even send a bloody astronaut to space.

So shut up. All you can do is arrogantly post sh*t on your posts. Hell, your brain is probably tainted.

If India sent a spacecraft to Mars, they become super duper power in space. Your logic is as stupid as the Indian government.

Why is there so much burn when China is involved. Well done China.

And a Filipino is talking about sending astronauts into space? LOL or are you a 50 cent internet warrior for CPC?

Lets talk when you build a prototype...and not Indians but the whole fcking world calls you cheaters and your prducts are below standard be it a cellphone or washing machine when compared with top brands.

100% cheating? That's simply a pathetic belief on your part.

LOL...which fcking technology expertise does one need to copy a Humvee man?...It shows your ingrained quality of cheating everything the US does.

P.S-India doesnt claim to be a technological power or a Industrial super power.
