I know F22 has arrived in Japan, I wonder if the F22 can use two versions of JDAM-ER, Damask or JSOW-C1 against the Type 52 class (A, B, C, D) of course it will be against CIWS Type720, HQ-7/9/16 (VLS) and FL-3000N SAM.

JDAM & JSOW: CEP less than 3m, when thrown at a ceiling 10 - 20 km and drop with mach 0.9. Guidance systems by Navigation GPS / INS and terminal seeker with IR or laser.

JDAM is basically used to destroy moving tanks, battle ship thousands tons, speed less than 90 km, can not fast and maneuverable as tank

JDAM Ashm role:
The first-ever "Resultant Fury" demonstration will take place in the vast expanse of the Pacific Ocean Nov. 22-23, 2004. The two-phased demonstration features B-52 and B-1 bombers meeting, engaging and sinking multiple moving maritime targets. This demonstration is aimed at showing that the US Air Force has the capability to sink multiple moving ships in all weather, day or night, be they used by enemy combatants, terrorists, or those used for piracy. It will mark the first time Air Force aircraft have used the JDAM to sink a moving vessel.

JDAM drop coils incorporate fall vertically, CIWS will not have enough angle to attack.

Ten mins into a war, there will be no airports left in Japan for F-22s to return to,for all will be totally and utterly destroyed without mercy。:azn:

A salvo of 500 stand-off YJ-12s(M4 400km)should send all Japs capital ships to the bottom of the East China Sea。:smitten:

I do not want to argue, just want to talk to tech, you really do not have the knowledge to debate.

For F-22 to deploy the JDAM, it would have to fly in range of HHQ-9. That means it would have to come in with 200km of the ship, equipped with a L-band AESA radar designed to detect low observable targets. In addition, JDAMs are quite slow moving compared to missiles, leaving time for CIWS systems to do their work. Of course, this is all in a hypothetical vaccum environment.

I pity you, you can not intercept the JDAM and JSOW though you try to copy the U.S. Aegis :)

you're kidding?Type 052D most modern of you "discovered" F22?

Phalanx C-RAM is a variant on the land, it's the U.S. you can not even know the name Chinese C-RAM system's copy :hitwall: - It is LD-2000 made in :china:

Ignorant wretch:rofl:

Take CIWS systems from ship to land that it is called C-RAM system.

Its so easy thant intercept JDAM because JDAM slower than Supersonic anti-ship missile.

You need to understand what is the stealth technology.

JDAM attack range only 28km.
JSOW cant to attack ship:azn:

Prove it? please ?

As I commented

JDAM (possibly JSOW) drop coils incorporate fall vertically, CIWS will not have enough angle to attack.

We inflicted 100000 civilian casualties on you in 1979 and crushed your superpower dreams. Try to feed yourself first before challenging China again.

Oh, yes you are taught that we wanted superpowers? Where to say it?

China in 1979 was 800 million people."Fear" a tiny Vietnam, only 50 million people? Troll bad and bland, almost zero knowledge.Actually we lost to the Chinese in 1984 & 1988

Ignorant wretch:rofl:

You stupid! C-RAM = Made in USA, China copy = LD-2000 :D

Look for the word "C-RAM"

Stealth technology: including RCS (LO technology), Infrared (thermal signal), Acoustic (sound), Smoke emitted (engine exhaust), also Contrails (moisture convergence range below the plane).New generation engine, able to fly cruise (super cruise) at long range, that is not needed after burner that can still Mach 1 or higher, advanced electronic systems: fully equipped AESA radar, MWR, LWR, RWR, new electronic system EO / IRST, datalink own (stealth datalink) ....New-generation weapons: gen 4 or older, capable of all aspects with IR-guide missile or anti-interference with active guide missile.

Come on now, or tell me how to Type 052C / D findings F22 or F35?

F22 and F35 is Stealth fighter ,but It not means they RCS and Infrared are zero.

Depends on threshold and if said threshold is high enough, then for all purposes, their RCS are effectively zero. But of course, you would have problems understanding the concept of a threshold.

Har...You wish...

First...The 'radar resolution cell' principle and limitation...

Definition: radar resolution cell
The volume of space that is occupied by a radar pulse and that is determined by the pulse duration and the horizontal and vertical beamwidths of the transmitting radar. Note: The radar cannot distinguish between two separate objects that lie within the same resolution cell.
The highlighted is illustrated below...

radar_resol_cell.jpg

Second...There is an inverse relationship between antenna/array dimension and beam width. Basically, the smaller the antenna/array, the wider the beam, or the larger the antenna/array, the narrower the beam.

Third...The lower the transmitting freq, as in longer wavelength, the greater the effect on the two above items, meaning longer wavelength have increasing difficulty resolving vital target resolutions:

- Altitude
- Speed
- Heading
- Aspect angle

As well as distinguishing multiple targets that flies close together to hide their true number.

The result is that the L-band, assuming it can detect the F-22 in the first place and only under ideal atmospheric conditions, can only give general direction, hardly accurately those 4 target resolutions, and those resolutions require the X-band.

Finally...Because transmitting the L-band will require higher power, such transmissions will be detected by the 'stealth' attacker long before the L-band radar can give that general direction, assuming the 'stealth' attacker do nothing, which is another ideal condition in favor of the defender.
