What's new

Former MNA Ali Raza Abidi shot dead in Karachi

Let's see.

But as someone who was living in Karachi until very recently, nothing happens here without Ranger's permission.

Politics is Karachi has been a very dirty business for a very long time, and this will not change any time soon. The whole city is a battleground between all sorts of criminal gangs with members in all sorts of offices and organizations as well as the usual bosses. Heck, most of the country has become like that these days, sadly.

Ali Raza Abidi last video message before his murder:

It was most probably a PPP hitman. PPP is mostly Shia so your theory is wrong. Watch his video.
@Bezerk
It's clearly PPP. Before NAB reached him, he was shot by PPP.I am 100% sure because this party is clearly corrupted and has given so much damage to Pakistan as no other party has ever given.I believe that there is possibility of target killing of other genuine politicians who are well aware of PPP's actions in Sindh and Karachi.NAB should prepare list of such politicians and ex-MNAs and provide them security before it gets too late.

Regards

The target killers knew that he will be there at that time. They were sent specifically to target him. These are the observations.

Operations are going on since 2013 still in Karachi only 21000 Police is available for people and Karachi has population of around 1 crore 60 Lakh which is almost double to New York and New York has around 40000 Police Force. New Delhi with Population of around 1 Crore 20 Lakh has around 80000 and Mumbai also have close to this number. Until you make sure that Karachi has around 66000 to 70000 Police Force and in every Police Station there are 1000 Police Man and Women deployed who work in 3 shifts and at least 160 Police Man from every station in one shift are on patrol your really can't control a city like Karachi and in country like Pakistan.

Police numbers alone won't solve this. This requires at bottom up approach. The community is plagued with terror and violence.

Something like this will happen again

Sadly, the idiots will swallow it and continue worshiping the army and giving it equal status to Islam

The truth is that the Army is indeed worthy of great respect in many aspects, but also downright condemnable in some of the "other" things that it takes upon itself.

Definitely, those at lower levels risk their lives for the nation and must be respected. Those at the top setting policies should be ashamed

You can fabricate as much theories as you want about unfortunate killing of Ali raaza abidi but look how he was smiling when Altaf was talking about violence

Was not Altaf Hussain threating those traitors of MQM who left him in recent speeches ?

Abidi was complete chela of Altaf. I hate using such language about someone who's dead, but I haven't seen a bigger fanboy of Altoo in current MQM-P. He left MQM-P for precisely that reason because his pride couldn't swallow how he lost to PTI.

Only people he kept aggressively attacking was establishment. By all accounts, he was a honourable man to common people, but his views I did not like regarding PTI

London-based terrorist orders hitmen to assassinate Pakistani politicians .

Thus far, three have been killed.

What further proof require to put an end to this lunatic‘s freedom to terrorise?

If Scotlandyard does not act swiftly to arrest this man it would be indicative of clear and definite sponsorship by British authorities of terrorism and murder of Pakistani citizens by goons and thugs unleashed by this accursed abomination to the Lord Almighty.

Exactly, credit where credit is due, and criticism where it is fair.
