Chile Con Carne, Salmon and pasta, and Sardines........sounds like a recipe for a quick trip to the bathroom.

My favorite in our MREs is the dehydrated strawberry. The texture and taste in the mouth is strawberry flavored styrofoam, then the block slowly expands.

Yea those were the best! The worst was the Dehydrated hamburger patty. The old C-rations had some decent items I thought. The canned pears were always my favorite.
