Washington: Pakistan Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa arrived in the US for nearly weeklong visit, which included meetings with senior officials of the Biden administration, state media reported.
“Yes, he is here,” said Pakistan’s Ambassador Sardar Masood Khan, when journalists asked him for information about the Army Chief’s visit, Dawn reported.
While the envoy refrained from sharing the Chief’s itinerary, other sources said General Bajwa was expected to meet Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin, National Intelligence Director Avril D. Haines and CIA Director William J. Burns, Dawn reported.

“It is very likely, but not confirmed yet,” a source said.
General Bajwa landed at LaGuardia in New York on Friday, flying from London on his official plane along with his senior aides. He was expected to arrive in Washington over the weekend, and Monday and Tuesday have been set aside for official meetings.
On Wednesday, the Pakistan Army Chief will meet members of various think-tanks and other scholars interested in Pakistan affairs.
While General Bajwa has kept in close contact with US officials over the past few years, his last official visit to the US came in 2019, when he accompanied the then-Prime Minister Imran Khan on a three-day trip to Washington

Just there is no will or plan , apart from building homes in Islamabad

Moronic loser: who shows up on a 5 day visit without a confirmed protocol and appointment to meet the Sec of State. Meeting the Sec Def is not a 5 year process.

Bajwa went to introduce the new upcoming chief.

And probably in discussion with Donald Lu on planned next steps, now that the cypher is leaked.

Moeed Pirzada in his latest vlog talks about recent IK meeting with dozen or so journalists where he was also in attendance.

IK made an interesting observation that the financial/economic situation has brought to such a brink that the only way out now would be through US dominated financial institutions and networks. And in order to qualify for this program Pakistan would have to make some heavy concessions, including but not limited to granting MFN to India and opening its market to Indian products, which will then displace Chinese products due to their proximity and cost of labor, basically accepting Indian hegemony in the region.

Secondly Pakistan would have to rollback its relationship with China and sign up to be canon fodder as colonial foot soldiers in Kinetic action abroad.

Either IK is now coming around to getting on board with the colonial project or he's lamenting the hopelessness of the situation.

Given the predicament IK would be the biggest narcissist fool if he still has the savior complex and wants to come back to power and that through democratic means. He should just walk away and let this land and beghairat people in it burn to the ground and let the Mir Bajwas and his chor commanders sit on its charred rubble.

unfortunately, COAS went for economic aid and loans situation. Massive payments in billions are due next year and govt is broke like a joke.
