How Did The Taliban Manage To Seize Power So Quickly?

I see it being very simple. America pulls the porkbarrel of military contracts from local warlords because of the pullout, and they change their loyalty overnight.

Right now, the time and environment here is cathartically celebratory, just like it has been enforced at certain stages: PMIK's "win", the CPEC "miracle", the recent economic "performance". Similarly, USA has ben defeated, Pakistan was always right, and the Taliban have won, presumably the good ones only.

I have no reason to upset such a cozy place with reality. :D
OH COMMMMMMMMME ON!!!! Since when have you started playing the diplomatic game? It does not suit you. Anyways the offer of a PM debate still stands. The problem I have is one of time plus I am based in UK so my source pool has dried up. Anyways I have always relied on my own assessment of the situation rather than reading others. So if you want to ----- please do even on the PM.

Joe did what had to be done to ditch the dead weight and get back on track to the real interests of America; outcompeting China.

BTW, back on how the Talibs did it. Basically the had a “ Ludacris” strategy (call move ... out the way) won’t post the video but those that get will get it ;) (tryin to keep it clean folks)
The problem is it will have a ripple effect of screw up Afghanistan since it supposed to be a show piece how US deal with allies. Now this calamity has spoked the confident of taiwanese.

@Khan vilatey
Listen this interview and Gen Tariq interview, that why US lost. I don't think India made US lose, except through influencing Think Tank inputs situated in Washington.

Wherever and whenever the Hindutva gets involved it becomes easy….

Even a single-cell Corona could make India kneel down….

friend @Goenitz I saw the interview and the video you suggested but these both were weak arguments ,India has been on a media and diplomatic blitz for the last 10 years against Pakistan and provided the Americans with weak excuses which they took because they had no legs to stand on. This is why they lost in Afghanistan. They pissed of all of the powers nebiouring Afghanistan o the behest of Indians. This clearly pushed them over the edge.

Reports from reporters embedded with the ANA are coming out. Basically ANA set up a defense......get overwhelmed by the Taliban offensive. Regular ANA would start giving up to the Taliban....handing over weapons and walking off. Then the elite special forces would pull back, now being heavily out numbered by the Taliban....their commanders would then deal with the Taliban. Agreeing to abandon their vehicles heavy equipment and weapons in exchange for being allowed to retreat unharmed. This would be repeated in city after city....until the only place left to retreat was into neighboring countries or American transports at Kabul Airport. Afghan Air force was crippled after some critical airbase losses and became a non factor in the closing stages of the war.

This is what happens when you put delusional morans in charge with no tactical or strategic sense and loyalties only to themselves and RAW. Add in the systemic corruption and result was a disaster.

Its not a character.. IPRI is soem thinktank of Islamabad. ;)

Forgive me I was too tired, I read your post incorrectly. Yeah, he is the IPRI guy and IPRI is not some think tank but THE THINK TANK of Pakistan.
Afghan army is / was a bunch of coward pedophiles, they can't fight with anyone.......Taliban came and they surrendered to save their @ss.
Come on. There is no harm in listening to an alternative POV. It will be good for debate. I might not agree with your POVs but find your arguments logical. If not open forum then PM me if you can. Or I can initiate the talk if you want.

Joe Biden back at the White House

View attachment 770435

US President Joe Biden has just arrived back in Washington DC, having cut short his trip to Camp David, the presidential retreat in Maryland.

He's set to make a speech in a few hours, at 20:45 BST / 15:45 EST, on the situation in Afghanistan.

How did Taliban manage to seize power so quickly ? Because NATO let them. NATO helped Talib bachabazs directly by stopping lot of support to ANA which was spoken about by ANA commander Sami Sadat. This is other than USA military carrying Taliban to the battlefields of Syria and also getting Talibs to force Afghan farmers to grow opium which would be then taken by CIA and sold. This silly mythology about invincible Taliban is just that - mythology.

When will the Islamist vs. Socialist hatchet be buried?

When will the Islamist vs. Socialist hatchet be buried?

You have brought through your soon-to-be-launched movement a mixing of modern Socialist thought with Islam because you see the commonality between Islam and modern Socialism / Communism and I believe all Muslim Socialists and Communists are ready to collaborate with those Muslims who call themselves religious but it is these so-called religious people who should understand that supreme commonality. For example here is Jamal Abdul Nasser in part of a speech in 1958 when his Socialist movement wanted to collaborate with the "Muslim" Brotherhood :
