How did we get to computer powered scopes that calculate bullet drop instantaneously? The ACOG and CCO gave infantry a massive performance boost. It's the first step to soldier augmentation. This is where the real future of firearms will be.

Will be very expensive

Waiting to see a Chinese version on their new rifle. They might have one out in a couple years considering they study the US military closely.

This reminds of that " advanced goggles " that the U.S wanted their soldiers to have , in the end it was too damm expensive and probably can get hacked lol.

They are getting those goggles too.

This new scope can link up with those goggles so you can see the feed.

Sounds good but again let’s wait until this innovates and gets to a more inexpensive level

Wouldn't worry about it. They are going to combine this and this.

Here is another Fire Scope Scope system, Called FILS, that Pakistan should look into acquiring for at least some of the elite troops or developing a similar system in house or with a friendly nation. May one or two per squad, and with the ability for the other squad mates to share the targeting data.

interesting feature such as the computer embedded in the rail.

Also, developing or acquiring a modern helmet/comms system maybe as important as a new rifle. Situational awareness of the enemy and your own team mates will continue to be important for maintaining “momentum dominance”. So even with legacy rifles, an more aware soldier could be able to get more rounds on target, and be a force multiplier over just a new rifle.
