Well for starters you could tone it down a bit - Its a simple exercise to see how much bearing it will have on the US - IT IS AS SIMPLE - Despite this the US will go ahead and give u guys the Block 52s.

As for crying and wining - We don't go out and say that we need a nuclear deal like "OUR NEIGHBOURS". We take the matter up in a simple and logical way. I am sure Pakistan does that too but in the present context, Pakistan needs not just to build trust with the US but many countries including India, Afghanistan, Iran and Russia. If there had been no conflict between India and Pakistan no one would have raised an Issue.

The point it simple you are developing your arsenal to fight against India as you clearly do not need Nuclear Capable F-16s to fight the Taliban. A WWII era plane can do that job. It is a but natural concern, just like when we introduced the ATV, the Pakistan Navy chief said that it will trigger an arms race.

You need to step out of your dilemma buddy - India is concerned about its safety. Second, your acquisitions in totality do not hurt us as much as the Military capability of CHINA > Pakistan is not the problem in Indian minds with respect to Arms and Ammo anymore its China that has more conventional power than US.

This particular incident is a clear case of keeping the National interests of India Intact and the ATV is a clear case of building capabilities to counter China. So again, STEP OUT OF UR DILEMMA THAT EVERYTHING WE DO IS KEEPING PAKISTAN ALONE IN MIND.

wow.. what a thread... Does anyone here really think that this is surprising. This is a standard one upmanship that both India and Pakistan engage in. India raises this issue knowing that chances of success are low. Just like Pakistan knew that it would not get any concession on Kashmir or water in the US strategic dialog but still went ahead and put it on the table. Its all diplo speak and is expected

I dont see any international or even Pakistani media reporting it and am not too sure of the details of this..

The schedule of deliveries for the F-16 Block 52's is already announced - so its a little late for the GoI to be whining about that, if the report is indeed true.

Any particular reason why the thread should stay open, until such time as the US announces the delivery schedule for the Block 52's has been changed?

Given the above, and no counter-argument, at this time, indicating the delivery schedule of the Block52's has been changed by the US, thread closed.

Given that your post history indicates that you are well enough versed in military affairs to have known that the Block 52 delivery schedule was announced months ago, there was no need for your initial posts on this thread.
