India's Space Success 'LIMITED' but offers lessons: Chinese Media

What did you achieve by maned flight? It is never on our priority list. Your space lab is drifting down and will fall down at any moment. Who is Jealous? Have we commented anything on Chinese space program? it is your country who who speaks nonsense every time we achieve something. We launch 104 satellite and your media said our program is limited. Have we asked any certificate from you? Is our program limited? It is extended from satellite imaginary to top class communication technology, navigation, placatory exploration, Space exploration, Tsunami warning, earth observation etc. Is is limited? Who is bragging here?

yeah, chinese fake space walk keep silent on the longi march rocket. ohh, but wait you do not remember that. You only interested in Indian space launches because they are important yours are not?

"Insecurity" is a very useful word to use whenever you need some security. :partay:
e you will bring on your cheerleader that faithguy?

Let's be very clear. The chinese rockets are pretty formidable but absolutely no country in the world can take advantage of their achievements. No one trusts china to send their satellites through their vehicles.

They haven't been able to send space probes with much success is because you need very powerful antennas to beam the signals to your probe spread across different continents. Most countries think if they lease a space to china they might just occupy it.

True. India was able to send a probe to Mars as it relie on NASA stations. I'm not trying to downgrade Indian space achievements but without NASA assistance, India would not be able to be the first country to send the probe to Mars on its first attempt. So Indians here need to give some credit to NASA.

Of course, India is the quintessence of becoming proud out of poverty.

Any starter from a resource-poor country should follow ISRO.

China was much poorer when they sent man to space.

Your country being the most poorest in the region, has zero step towards science. shame.

You should also give credit to ESA stations that helped you in critical phase of moon landing and will again help in sample return.

chinese commercial space launch services was popular(even among american companies) before the us banned any american components from flying on them, at the time most satellites used some american part in one way or another so the banned cause a large fall in business, however even during that time, various companies, including european ones, choose to replace american parts with european parts to allow a chinese launch to go ahead. now chinese commercial services are recovering, in large part due to advances in chinese components and sourcing europeans ones allowing satellites to be built that are nearly as good as any american counterpart. seems people trust china just fine. in fact launch records are open for all to see, you cant hide the success or failure of a space launch and you cant hide commercial launches, those are readily available to be looked up in records.

and china has not been able to launch many deep space probes because lacks a deep space network along with enough ground stations, you wouldn't expect a guy to drive very far if there are no roads/gas stations. moreover deep space research/exploration is the 3rd rung of chinese space program, they aim to take things step by step and deep space is just not a priority yet. the first step is LEO which they've pretty much mastered, and currently they are focused on the second which is lunar exploration and further out, mars exploration. only after that does deep space come into focus. now that doesn't mean they wont do any deep space exploration/research, just that it's not a priority.

and yes that was that one argentina incident which some people seem to think is some kind of a military station, which it's not, i mean they(the locals) complained they couldn't just walk into the compound whenever they wished, therefore it must be some kind of an evil chinese military staging ground. like what? do every business just allow random people in their buildings whenever they wished in argentina? that said, china actually operates multiple ground stations, including ones in africa and pakistan, and shares various european stations under government to government agreement.

That's true. Without the US ground stations in the pacific islands, mars probe was as good as a rock !

US ban does seem to have a negative impact but china's lift off capability is pretty formidable !

What are the chinese plans about asteroid mining ? Is there a vision document anywhere ?

But it wasn't eh! We are grateful to NASA for that map. Now shut up and move on.

Any 'particular' reason why they banned from sharing any tech with China? US worrying about China's rise...... is good for propaganda.

that's stuff that would be far off in the future, there is a plan(or rather, an idea) similar to the american one, of bringing a small meteor to earth or moon orbit to better study it

on security grounds. it's not even about tech, since even a bolt from the us isn't suppose to be on a satellite china launches. its just the us trying to prevent or slow down chinese progress

china still have to develop satellites lie these,

This year we are going to launch GSAT-11 which is a 6300 kg satellite.

Oh wow, a heavy communication satellite with less bandwidth capabilities than a lighter Chinese equivalent that's already in space. (14Gps vs 20Gps) Australia's communications satellite that's 100kg heavier offers 6 times more bandwidth. Please, give yourself a pat on the back
