INS Arihant sails out of harbour

look at the Masts, those ripple effect made only when submarines goes below the crushing dept means below 1% of crushing depth).

hull is made of Titanium , thats why no pressure effect on that. Masts is made alloy.

B) See the Rust signage , it happens only when Sub made to and fro and very frequently.

those ripples show it reached to approx 350m . BSL

Now what makes you think above is junk?

Man you stop right here, before you would be declared a laughing stock.

The hull is HY-80 steel = 80 atmosphere of endurance.

India does not have capability to forge Titanium hull.
Besides its damn expensive to begin with.

Please stop your crap right here.
No he is correct. I had also told the same in last July. Conning tower and welding quality is drawback which we have found. Boat outer body has extensive titanium.

you have notice the Word ?? " Will be made " and those were written 2009...

read it properly ....."and last one , the person is assuming is will make of HY-90 and he is also
don't know.....

More over Russian Nuke Sub use Titanium Hulls since 1970's and why will India not use Titanium ??

are you saying this based on news some time back? I think that is not true. Navy and PMO ( I assume PMO has a direct role in defining test plan) will not risk such a critical asset early in lifecycle. Once it is proven, It can be tried. But 500 meter is a lot. It won't be tried for more than 300 m.
It has been around 350 meters.

TITANIUM: Even though, due to its
complicated production
process, titanium is approximately
ten times more expensive
than conventional
steel,
its worldwide
demand has been consistently
growing for years.

The characteristics that make this metal so desirable are also the reasons
that titanium is extremely unruly during forming. The high strength and
low heat conductivity are the reasons that the dies are subject to high
temperatures and wear. For the manufacturers of forming presses this
behavior is a tough nut to crack.

The mechanical machining after forging is also time-consuming and
costly. Since this process can cost up to 50% of the total cost it is important
to make a forging that is as close to the final shape as possible.

Titanium:- 6 times lighter then steel and twice as hard as steel.

Russian Alfa SUB:-
The Lira was a unique design among submarines. In addition to the revolutionary use of titanium for its hull,

SU30 MKI ...
The Su-30MKI is a highly integrated twin-finned aircraft. The airframe is constructed of titanium and high-strength aluminium alloys.

What you want to prove , india don't have Money like PAK , can't buy Titanium ? or don't have Technology which existed since 70's in Russia?

The PWR consists of a huge pressure hull, a tank containing water and a reactor. It also consists of a pressure vessel built from unique steel, a control room as well as an auxiliary control room.

That unique steel is HY-80

I think such risk has not been taken. If India had a DSRV, then I would have speculated.

Indian Navy has been in lot of incidents lately. India would not take the risk of testing deep dive on an under testing nuclear platform. God forbid, if something goes wrong, India would have made a fool of themselves.

Why are you going for aircrafts?
Show me the Titanium hull design by Indians.
Larsen-Toubro does not have technology to build Titanium hulls.

A) L&T never made any Sub before
B) India never Designed any Sub before
C) India never made any Sub before
D) India never made any Small compact reactor before

While making India's Nuclear Sub, india done everything for 1st time in this sub.

As for your argument , india never made any Sub, so it didn't make it either also.

For your Information, India uses Titanium in Missiles also , almost reduced weight by 17 tonnes........welcome to the world of new age technology.

@mehboobkz There are more then enough proof for Titanium hull but if you still want to live in delusion that India can not make it then its not our problem.

We already gave so many people sleepless night when our first ever nuke sub launched, every one was shocked that India made a submarine and that to a Nuclear one.
