The awkward paint job that you see is from the Satin coating the outer sheets are given to make them rust proof and for trial purposes. Once the initial testing phase is complete a more conventional black oxide touch will be given to the sub to help camouflage it in deep waters. Nothing to be alarmed about, there is work still to be done on this baby.

Yeah, two more of them are under construction. Total five nuclear submarines sanctioned by the govt.

Don't have any idea why the front-upper nose part is white, while rest of the sub is black as usual!!! Guess its for testing purposes......

i dont know when the government will learn , it is always behind the requirement of the armed forces
Navy had projected the requirement of 9 nuclear subs , while the government has sanctioned only 5
requirement is of 18 frigates and destroyers over the next 10 yrs , but the govt has given the go ahead for only 11
with rumours of on going negociation with russia regarding a 3rd batch of 3 talwar class frigates doing the round on the net
