Iran should focus on developing a regional GPS satellite system. That's well within our capability. We don't need anything global at the moment.

Iran and Russia are cooperating in fight against ISIS in Syria, so for this purpose I think the russians provide they sats for this missions, but I think this is only limited in fight against ISIS...
I cant imagine russia will provide satellite cooperation if its a sensitive mission, like israeli or us targets
So its necessary that Iran should have its own sattelites, I hope the next decade will bring fruits in this sector...
