Totally unwarranted and loose shot.
A soldier's job is not to appease anyone but to fight fire with fire.
If Janjua is interested in a career in diplomacy he should resign from army, pass CSS for foreign service and join it then can play sweet talk.

Speaking during an informal talk with media on Defence Day, the COAS said that Lieutenant General Faiz Hameed’s Kabul visit was a constructive one rather than causing harm to anyone. It was not aimed at insulting anyone, he added.

The army chief said that threat of terrorism would remain owing to the TTP’s presence, however, the state would not allow any group to raise arms.

COAS Qamar Javed Bajwa said that they had to eliminate all sorts of terrorism and militancy from the country and had to get rid of internal enemies who are being supported by foreign elements.

He hoped that peace would prevail in Afghanistan and soon good news would come from Kabul.

Earlier, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa while addressing a ceremony in connection with the Defence and Martyrs Day at General Headquarters (GHQ), said that Pakistan was closely monitoring the regional developments and the country wanted to see the development of the Afghan people.

He expressed hopes that the international community will play its role in the development of Afghanistan.

The army chief also expressed hopes for the establishment of a stable and inclusive government in the neighbouring country. He said that Pakistan hopes that Afghanistan’s soil will not be used against any country.

COAS Bajwa said that the Kashmir dispute possessed fundamental importance in the betterment of ties between Pakistan and India. Pakistan will continue its diplomatic and moral support to the Kashmiris on all platforms. He also paid tribute to the struggle of Syed Ali Geelani, he said.

Agreed, that’s not his job to give such statements.

Tirnaksiz spineless Bajwa as usual.
Oky idiot. This man served his country for 40 years and he is not allowed to talk n you idiot think you have right to talk. This man saw thousands of his fellow soldiers died for his country n he is not allowed to talk.b... yani kuch be. This man has every right to talk if you have right to write here.

I think he clarified that Pak is not the only neighbour or stakeholder and nor we are dictating. Plus Gen Faiz didn't go there for a show or drama or point scoring or to tease anybody. He went for a bigger reason and serious business. That serious business is inclusive government and peace in Afghanistan.

Such statements are part of the 5G warfare ... some just can't get to grips with all this!

GD ISI slaps, COAS says it wasn't meant to be a slap ... Bad cop, Good cop type of thing ... but a slap dished out nonetheless and everyone knows it too!

This is more with personality of Bajwa i.e. not to hurt anyone and make everyone happy.

Really surprising to see street fighters judging COAS remarks that came after a particular question which might have jeopardized a lot in current warfare. You just don't go gungho in every situation. DG ISI did what he had to, as mentioned by COAS as well about successful tour and then, Chief will convey a message to a certain power that don't feel to be humiliated. How come anyone think that it was to to calm India? No, the target is somewhere else.

You want him to talk like indian clowns?

Dont agree. Gen. Faiz visit and "Fantastikkkk" cup of tea ☕ was a sharp blow to AN enemy and there was NO REASON TO WATER DOWN IT.

What a non sense post.

What was wrong with the statement. It was a successful visit.

Its not about DG ISI or COAS, its about Pakistan. People on those posts are temporary and some one else will replace them, but National interests are permanent.

Why to worry over words dear, when practical net result is in front of you. That's neither here nor there

I have serious issues with Bajwa policies. But if some kids here think Bajwa should deliver speeches like Sultan Rahi then they are the ones who need to grow up. The speech was perfect issue is not the speech. Issue is lack of action in some areas.
