Jakarta - President Director of Taspen A.N.S. Kosasih and Managing Director of Mitsubishi Estate Group Masato Aikawa and and Ambassador of Japan to the Republic of Indonesia Kanasugi Kenji laid the groundbreaking of Green Energy Superblock Oasis Central Sudirman in Jakarta. Green Energy Superblock Oasis is part of strategic cooperation between Indonesia and Japan in the field of investment and property.

In addition, the development of investment and property value is considered capable of creating a balance of Indonesia's geopolitical conditions. This development is an optimization of Taspen land located on Jl. Jend. Sudirman Kav.2 Central Jakarta.

"The development of Sudirman land owned by Taspen Group will carry the concept of a one-stop service property complex and become a Green Energy Superblock through the Build Operate Transfer (BOT) scheme managed by the Mitsubishi Estate Japan consortium. We believe this collaboration brings world-class business to the heart of Jakarta," explained A.N.S Kosasih in a written statement, Wednesday (1/2/2023).

The development of this project is carried out by the largest property in Japan and one of the largest properties in the world Mitsubishi Estate., Co. Ltd.

On behalf of the Japanese government, Kenji appreciated the cooperation with Indonesia and said the Green Energy Superblock Oasis Central Sudirman would become a new landmark in Jakarta.

"The Oasis Central Sudirman Green Energy Superblock project will become a new landmark that will trigger the development of the Transit Oriented Development (TOD) Area in Jakarta and will be a catalyst to attract more global investment, especially property and real estate to Indonesia. This cooperation will also enhance mutually beneficial relations between Japan and Indonesia in the future," Kenji said.

Furthermore, the construction of the Central Sudirman Oasis Green Energy Superblock is in line with the direction of SOE Minister Erick Thohir. Where he encouraged SOEs to have the capacity to collaborate with international partners in presenting world-class businesses and properties in the country.

Interestingly, the location of Green Energy Superblock Oasis Central Sudirman is located in the Transit Oriented Development (TOD) area which is very close to several mass transportation mode stations such as MRT, LRT, Airport Skytrain, KRL, and Busway. Not only that, the location is also close to the Business Center, Trade Center and Government Center.

Being a property that puts forward the concept of Green and Sustainable Building with international class Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) standards, this place consists of commercial and residential skyscraper complexes with earthquake-proof construction.

Oasis Central Sudirman's Green Energy Superblock concept will also have the first building with 65 floors for Strata Title Condominiums and the second building has 75 floors with utilization for Offices, Service Apartments, and Hotels as well as lifestyle retail facilities that will be built on 3.3 hectares of land connecting the two buildings.

The construction work of Green Energy Superblock Oasis Central Sudirman is taking place gradually within a period of 6-8 years because it has world-class safety standards and earthquake-proof buildings.

"We should be grateful today to witness the Groundbreaking of World Class Property Green Energy Superblock Oasis Central Sudirman which will combine the interests of business and office activities through the concept of green building which also prioritizes the interests of environmental conservation," said Secretary of the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs of Indonesia Susiwijono Moegiarso who was present at the event.

"We appreciate the steps taken by the Ministry of SOEs and related SOEs to carry out property development by prioritizing the concept of Green and Sustainable Building with international class Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) standards," he continued.

For information, this event was also attended by the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs of Indonesia, represented by Secretary of the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs of Indonesia Susiwijono Moegiarso, Minister of SOEs represented by Secretary of the Ministry of SOEs Susyanto, and President Commissioner of Taspen Suhardi Alius.
