MQ-9 Sea Guardians are coming to Indian Subcontinent and their capabilities are unparalleled in this region.
On land borders, Pakistan can most probably counter MQ-9s thanks to HQ-9P defence systems,Active patrol by Fighter Jets and dense EW & radar network.
But the major problem lies in ocean region.PN is not well equipped to counter MQ -9 SG
The most advanced defence system PN is getting is CAMM-ER but its effective engagement altitude is probably 35000-40,000ft. MQ-9 can very well operate at the altitude of above 40,000 ft thanks to its service ceiling of 50,000ft.
Only choice is to call for JF 17s to engage with MQ-9 SG if detected.Since PAF is a small force (comparatively) so this will stretch out PAF even further.
_Long Term Solution for Such Threats:
Since our ship building capacity is growing,(thanks to Turks for their cooperation in Milgem &Jinnah Class Frigate project) and our land based SAM development is also on track , in-house ship based long range SAM development should be seriously considered to counter Aerial Threats from IN.

Why worry when Pakistan has Acinki drone, if you’re doubtful about its capabilities, then I have to tag an expert in this domain. @MMM-E
Sir
Akinci is not a counter for MQ 9 SG
It is our equivalent for MQ 9
It's like saying why to worry about intercepting Brahmose when we have CM403.

On the side note,Akinci can very well be intercepted by Indians thanks to their long range SAMs and readily available Fighter Jets of IN air wing.

Basically Turkish UCAV can be used to counter enemy UAVs/UCAVs due to its air to air capabilities.

Drone don't counter drone , don't be a shithead.

Tech is changing type of warfare now drones can do that.

Problem is still there
Akinci is an expensive bird and IN has readily available Fighter Jets to shot it out of sky.
A fully loaded Akinci will appear like a bomb Truck on radar

Moreover, MQ-9 can fly well above 40,000ft (40,000ft is actually the service ceiling of Akinci)
So Akinci is useful in well protected aerial environment of Pakistan but not in Ocean
even TB-2 UCAVs to carry 8 km SUNGUR air to air missiles to hit enemy UCAVs , Kamikaze Drones , Attack Helicopters , etc

TB-2 will not be able to get close to MQ 9 and same is true for Akinci.

Now this is a true beast.
What Engine it uses?

looked it up online just now, i am not an expert on sea/air warfare, but have a few questions:

can it launch missiles from that height? if not, how low will it have to fly to launch those missiles? does that height fall in the range of PN's SAMs? the sea-guardian version appears to be only carrying sonobuoys for subsurface tracking, can it carry missiles, torpedoes etc. as well?

Indian MQ 9 SGs are surveillance focused assets scanning the surface to pre-warn the IN warships about Pak assets on surface and under the surface.
PN's Albatross-NG SAM has only 45km range so MQ 9 SG can very well remain beyond 45km and inform the IN warship crew about its presence and then there will come IN fighter jets loaded with AntiShMs with 250km+ range.
So MQ 9 SG is very beneficial for IN to effectively use its Air wing against Pak Warships and on top of that ,it can stay far longer in battle field.

Surveillance is the key in war especially naval war.

They will be no headache. First we have enough weapons, fighter jets, and drones ourselves. Secondly we can shoot them down with our fighter jets. Thirdly along with Akinci Pakistan Navy may also get Aksungur may be WING LONG III but for sure as hell Khililzilma. Lastly out of 30 only 15 are for Indian Navy. They have to cover entire Arabian sea. So not much of a headache.

Pakistan can intercept MQ9 aswell with fighter jets and HQ9 SAMs

In times of conflict we send 4 KE armed with state of the art a-a missiles and equipped with AESA against every single enemy fighter that fighter will be toast. KE will change the fate of aerial warfare it will be a legendary unmanned fighter.
