He wishes for some kind of Islamic alliance but its just impossible given the hatred between the communities and how it would essentially be a burden on one sides resources to monitor the other not turning out to be a traitor.

In fairness it's not the worst idea, it should not be dismissed and maybe we can revisit this in the future but it's one for a few generations further down.

In order for this not to make an internal mess you have to have 2 economically viable states, internally at peace with improved infrastructure and political maturity...... and education levels.

If these things were in place it would happen naturally to an extent, but it's a bit of a joke if you have a Talibanised people trying to merge with a totally different set of values.


Also this merger of sorts would have many regional opponents, put aside the ethnic rivalry and just consider the broader impact.

Why Pakistanis are anti polio, because i can give u a ton of examples where polio workers have been shot. I can also show u Pakistani mullahs calling for ban on polio vaccines and calling polio and NGO workers as legitimate targets. Whose fault is this?

Why Iran is getting rid of all Afghans, why isn't Pakistan?

Problem is this disorganised porous f**king border, they will keep flowing in. We need a complete disconnect and only allow in educated vetted Afghans on tight visas. They carry a mental sickness and contact should be limited. Its obviously no coincedence Pakistan plunged into violent extremism after the influx of Afghans in the 80s. We lost all our British-Indus values.

All of this is just hot air and doesn't mean anything if you have the right leadership with their priorities in the right place.

It's nothing but emotional claims saying X can't survive for Y moral reason, you'll find countless examples throughout history of the immoral side not only succeeding but absolutely dominating.

Afghanistan itself is such an example that is built on Pashtun colonisation of Tajik and Hazara lands. Where did the Turks originally come from? What about Israel?

Nothing matters in this world but absolute power and using it competently.
