The Patriot system that was deployed near Abqaiq oil refinery in Saudi Arabia was equipped with a single radar system having 120 degree FOV - this radar system was facing Yemen. Iran exploited this loophole to attack Abqaiq oil refinery in 2019.

Russian S-300 and S-400 systems are equipped with several radar systems that collectively provide 360 degree FOV. Russia, US and Israel had an understanding on the issue of not toppling Assad regime.
