Considering that fact a lot of the seasoned members are leaving is it possible to create a new section for serious discussions?Only veterans,professionals,think tanks and other high ranking members should have posting permission here..this should filter out a lot of the trolls.
This should encourage more civilized and serious discussions.
PS:Seniors section does not serve the purpose because anyone can troll their way to become a senior.

Sure, we can overhaul seniors section and then ban the users from that section if they are unable to comply with rules and regulations.

What happens if "veterans, professionals, think tanks and other high ranking members" are the trolls? Before anyone gets upset, the approach should be good quality discussion in all the subfora, rather than only in a small walled-off area while leaving the rest of the forum to fester.

A better way to do this is give the idiots a section, where they can discuss religion. Anybody posts any religious thread or religious posts in any other defence thread, kick them out.

This way, garbage stays in the garbage can.

Those guys aren't allowed a thread, let alone dedicating a section. There are many religious forums available online, people interested can feel free to join.

I agree, with your sentiments. How else do you prevent them from turning the site into some garbage zone!

Maybe make it harder to join the seniors cafe. Right now any senior can join in but perhaps make initiation into the section harder like only through sponsorship or recommendation of top posters can get you in....

seasoned members are leaving because many title holders are pathetic trolls.. nobody cares if a member with 100 posts troll, he will be banned within few days and its over.

Complains should be taken to GHQ, as far as title holders breaking rules is concerned: we take these things seriously. There is already a debate going on regarding this issue. Your cooperation and help would be much appreciated.

I used to do that Sir, but the lack of any timely action, even against persistent offenders, has led me to conclude the futility of doing so, to be honest.
