What's new

Pakistan accepts China's version on Xinjiang's Uighurs: PM Imran

What he is referring to is the disruption which is caused by change in government after 5 years. You can only plan for your term , there is no guarantee you will be there for another term. And then like in most occasion, if the new government comes in, it usually reverse the policies and bring their own. The continuity is not there.

He is doing exactly the same with his accountability drive.
Its ironic

disruptions in plans is the achilles heal of democracy. I believe that the grounds are being set in Pakistan towards moving to a one party system. sure, we'll have other parties, but they would be reduced down to the rubbles, where they will remain a part of the political process but also be very irrelevant.

Where exactly is 'muslim brotherhood' ? People posting angry messages about Israel are totally silent here. Next time when you guys cry over palestine, ask yourself the question why silent over China?
Actually people like you screaming Xinjiang are no where to be seen when Palestine and Muslim Kashmir need help.

there already exists one party system in Pakistan. that one party just have many different faces
You are making zero sense.
Ok.

Ok.
no, I mean this time it will LITERALLY be a one party system with a puny, tiny little opposition...sure, the establishment always calls the shots, that is true for all democracies. you KNOW that the military industrial complex in the u.s. calls the shots in both america AND in canada...

people like him are no where to be seen because they are in the white house's bedroom bedroom bent over backwards takin' it in where the sun don't shine. :enjoy:

I see more and more political parties being formed in Pakistan. Provincialism will be on the rise unabated.

No one messes up a working system. Stop exploring the neo conservative media outlets

you are wrong sir. the military industrial complex is not a figment of the neo conservative media outlet...general and then president eisenhower even warned of the military industrial complex becoming too powerful, unfortunately no one was listening. anyways...as I said, piddly little squabling parties will be kept around with meager presence but one party will be kept in charge, hence, the "one party system" that will guarantee continuation of policies. our population needs to see a "looming" danger of a corrupt, sectarian and ethnic/provincial parties so that they will be motivated to keep that one party in charge...a little known fact, China actually DOES have other parties but there presence is kept around at a minimal and are manipulated by the CCP into barfing crap on purpose that the Chinese population despises...why do you think the CCP has such solid support in a nation of 1.5 billion people...duh!

as you can see, there are other parties...they have to accept the CCP has the big brother party in order to exist. Rest assured, this will happen in Pakistan soon as well albeit at an unofficial level.

As if IK has a choice...pakistan is effectively a vassal (puppet) state of china and will have to nod in agreement to it's master's actions

Say it and say it out loud without being apologetic. The Uighir thing is a CIA propaganda construct very similar to Iraq's WMD narrative.

Shut up! Look at your Modi. If there ever was a vassal of the Americans, its India right now.

CCP and China cannot be compared. They are a unique phenomenon.

What worked for others may not work for you. The post world war dynamics fostered an environment where China could engineer such massive mobilisation.

Pakistan banned the party which founded the country as an ideological state for a calculated reason in the 50s.

All countries should explore their own political systems. They can learn from the East, the West or other places instead of simply copying them from other countries.

yeah well things are changing again just as they did in the post world war era. History is taking a u turn and idea of democracy is on the wrong side of history.
