ISLAMABAD: Pakistani authorities have completed their initial investigation over information provided by the India regarding the recent terrorist attack on the Pathankot airbase in which seven Indian security personnel were killed.

According to well-informed sources, Pakistan has handed over the information from the initial investigation report to Indian authorities.

Sources told Geo News that the India had provided Pakistan communication intercepts and telephone numbers, which they claimed were used by the terrorists during the attack.

Sources said the numbers provided by India were not registered in Pakistan.

Pakistani authorities started its probe as soon as the information was provided by the Indians, who claim that the attackers were affiliated with the banned Jaish-e-Mohammad militant outfit.

Sources said that investigative agencies are carrying out further investigation.

A response from the Indian side is expected later today, the sources added.

Pak authorities can do whatever investigation they like, Indians will always blame them for their own incompetence. They are too foolhardy to recognize that this all stemmed from separatists in Indian-controlled Kashmir.

Wait till they also find out the Homes and Families of attackers in Pakistan. Ghaddar ibn-e- Ghaddar.

Breaking news : Many people arrested in South Punjab, after phone numbers provided by Indian intelligence. Raids still going on. Seems, non state actors are reaching to their end.

This thread is going to be the thread of the week I guess. And if everything goes well - maybe the defining thread of the year.

Keeping this bookmarked -

Is it safe to say that "some" of the evidence provided has been credible (hence the arrests) and "some" of it is not credible (phone numbers cannot be traced)?

Same drama.. all those who are "arrested" are no ones and will be free soon.

So Pakistan freaked out from joint pressure from USA and India.
Or else why does it gonna care ? It remained like a stone after 26/11.
Remarkable change in Pakistan's power. WOW !

In short Pakistan is saying to India, chal ja kam ker.

Nothing much is going to come out of this. If pakistan could run down 26/11 attack probe with glaring evidence this is nothing. There will be to & fro information exchange and finally they will start dragging the process until every one forgets it like 26/11. US will impose pressure on pakistan as to please India, they hardly care what happens in South Asia. US certainly is not able to stop taliban attacks on its troops in afghanistan to say that they will effectively coerce pakistan to take action is Indian naivette at the best.

The cycle will keep repeating , attacks will happen, there will be pressure then talks and then attacks again. It is like watching the same film repeatedly and expecting a different climax.

both sides should forget their egos and work together to bring the terrorists to Justice. that will go a long way.
numbers not registered in Pakistan means nothing .

as usual media goes hyper
