Pakistan steel Achieves 60% Capacity and 50 MW Electricity Generation First Time in 6 Years

chore corrupt noorey!
what else you expect from them

It provides electricity to pipri grid. Can any1 confirm if it is doing so?

I will go touch the high voltage wire to see it there is any flow of electricity :)

Good news for PPP and again when they will be in Govt they will eat this money again that is why what Prophet Mohammed (P.B.U.H) said is right that "Doing Business is not right for govt and Govt real work is to support its people"

Privatize all units will boost Pakistan and it will earn money and that money will be used for benefit of the people of Pakistan + less corruption.

Real change will be if they get done what they promised in their manifesto, still avaible online

16% tax to GDP
Zero loss in subsidy on public companies
End of power shortage in short term without going for expensive direct power imports(@12rs from Iran rather than LNG,coal even furnace oil plants are cheaper than 12, not diseal though)
At least starting 1 storage dam like bhasha, akhori etc(dasu, bunji don't count)
Getting GDP Growth of 5%
Bringing down power possess from 40 to at least 20% (if not to international standards of 8-10 and around 12-15 in some Pakistani distribution companies)
Making progress on its emergency education plan that it started worth 200 billion rupees

No one expects wonders but above are mostly achievable only via policy changes and transparency

This is good gong so far in case of steal mills, but if they fail to get a good price than the whole. excersie of investing so hugein past 2 years will be meaning less

This is called real change
And now if we sell, we can earn A LOT of money.

Many people were saying "sell white elephants nao." But they forget that if we sell PIA and other factories that are loss making, these then would be sold for peanuts.

Once these companies are profitable, they can sell for large sum which can then be used to pay off debt or build hospitals/schools/infrastructure. Good thing we didn't sell ODGCL stock!

Transmission line is always hot. It is just the direction of flow!
actually if you hang on to it, you won't get shock assuming you're not grounded. Hint: birds

make sure you check Imran khan's manifesto.

Don't say "but they're not in federal gov't!" Look around KPK and see what change has been brought.

Manifestos are more to win election than to deliver. I'm not going to hold Imran to his words just as I won't hold any party to its words. PMLn was offered state enterprises in awful shape and the whole country in awful shape as well. To believe the manifesto and consider things will change overnight or even in this term is being naive.

If they are able to do all of this in their current term they will not be challenged by any party in the future

I still believe that Pak steel should have been sold to Laxmi Mittal, when you guys had the chance.

If he was running the company, then you would have achieved 100% capacity utilization 3 yes ago.
