‘Pilipino coast guards laughed while firing’

LOL at stupid fool your 7.7 growth of a tiny economy compared to us 7.5% of 8.5 trillions, please don't post for the sake of posting :Pdont make a fool of yourself please

Since the Filipino economy is base on remittance, Taiwan would rive that 7.7% growth down a notch if Taiwan start to tax remittance to Philippines. This would be needed if Filipino gov would no pay the compensation to the fisherman. It would be coming off the remittance.

you need to go to see a psychiatrist asap for saying filipine can surpass china , man i m talking to a lunatic here:omghaha:

He is talking about GDP growth rate. Which is likely as Filipinos are sending home more remittance because they are sending out more maids. If they open up the bases to US navy again, then some of the better looking Filipina can come home and work by the bases for a quick buck. This would again drive up their GDP. So we know how Philippines can increase their GDP

Facts from investigators from both sides:

1) There are no bullet holes in the engine room of the Taiwan fishing boat - this discredits the Filipino coast guards' claim of shooting the engine to disable the boat from running away.

2) All the bullet holes are on the fisherman's cabin and both sides of the boat - aimed to kill all on board and take the fishing boat as booty in which, more often than not, the standard procedures for some rogue Filipino coast guards. The bullet holes on the sides of the boat due to their poor marksmanship.

The whole Filipino coast guard must be arrested by Taiwanese military. Either Philippine surrender them or Taiwan should start a blockade of Luzon.

1) It is also a possibility that the soldiers shot at where they thought the engine room was. For that to hold up though there will have to be a demonstration of familiarity with a vessel that has an engine in that location.

"“There were no bullet holes on the engine room probably because (the coast guards) did not know its location,” the source said."

2) source for locations of bullets? According to your posted source the video of the incident shows that the ship was not raked with gunfire as you imply, but that the soldiers aimed at (presumably) where they thought the engine room was.

In any case if the soldiers did act 'unprofessionally' then they should be disciplined. Then again as Hawk said, people can laugh during firing for alot of reasons, not necessarily enjoyment.

Neither will happen, more talk, maybe tariffs/ bans on imports of Filipino products. Also chest thumping.

So what? i say let them do it we have other markets if the world boycotts my country's products we filipinos are screwed but if china does so what? I mean it did not work anyway we got double the tourist after the boycott we found more markets to sell our exports to in fact it was great publicity for the Philippines and we got notice really want them to leave they are more trouble they never do anything but to be rude and arrogant as if they owned my country heck they are even stealing resources and evading taxes etc. So leave and never come back and ever.

I've said already,Phil wont back down to US's dog like TW. U cant do anythig when ur boss doesnt give a damn to a worthless dog like u.

Phil is far more important to US than TW,got it,dude?

Taiwanese government is not like the Vietcong. You guys measure how useful you are for another country. To put it in a language you can understand, we would be the guys you want to make yourself useful for.

Its time to tax the remittance going to Philippine to compensate the dead fisherman's family

It's a small fishing boat, anyone with some knowledge of the sea would know the engine room is not actually a room, but, rather a compartment below the deck aft side. I'm sure the Filipino coast guards who plied these water know as much.

There are 52 bullet hole on the boat and 10 of them on the port side which indicates heavy weapons were used because the thickness of the material. Philippine boat likely fired heavy guns: prosecutor | Society | FOCUS TAIWAN - CNA ENGLISH NEWS

Most of the shots were fired at this angle

I never heard of professional handlers of weapons laugh while they're performing their expertize but I heard many rogue one and maniacs enjoy them so much they usually they burst out laughing.

It looked like hoot, with six coast guards laughing as they fired at the Taiwanese fishing boat.

“The video showed the soldiers acted unprofessionally. They were laughing while they were shooting the boat,” a source who had seen the video of the Philippine Coast Guard shooting of fishing boat Guang Ta Hsin 28 three weeks ago said Saturday.

“It is disturbing and embarrassing for Philippine law enforcers,” the source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told the Inquirer in an interview.

Why is Taiwan delaying the release of the shooting incident video if that's TRUE??? The fact that they, until now, have not shown the video is very revealing...they don't want the public to see the video.

The Taiwanese investigators are very professional and tight lipped and they won't reveal anything until both sides finish their respect investigations. Most of these news titbits on this thread are from Filipino media.

Its the Filipino rogue government that is not revealing video. They send their video to James Cameron for putting some special affects in the video. You will see some Titanic scenes from the Filipino video.

This is very interesting.

I have just looked at the IMF April 2013 database and can see that the Philippines economy is set to grow 5-6% a year over the next 5 years and it's GDP will rise from 284 billion dollars to 450 billion dollars.

Seems like the US may wish to use Philippines as a good base to counter China going forward.

The right figure is 6 - 7 % per year of growth. However it remains to be seen if the growth will be inclusive or if it will just widen the gap between the haves and have nots. The current growth is non inclusive.

Also, you Filipinos won't even release the video, its clear that you hacks are guilty.
