Retired army major shot dead at Cox’s Bazar check-post

Facts :
Major (Retd .) Rashed Sinha was shot 6 times .
He was not a criminal , neither was he accused of any crimes previously - police is trying to fabricate drug and other charges .
The police is currently trying to cover up the crime by giving a charge sheet that SI Liakat shot in self defense . In reality if Major (Retd .) Sinha could have taken out his pistol , today the story would have been in reverse probably .
Our current cat chief is a ran dia pu s s y . This will demoralize our force . ( sorry for my bad language this early in the morning )

Probably the worst army chief in the history of the country.

Awami League cadre in police cloth, hailed from Gopalganj, holding down already short Maj Sinha's throat with his boots - this is the gruesome eyewitness account given to authority. This is also symbolic of how Awami League regime holding down Bangladesh throat.

Note:
Gopalganj is the place where Hasina and her family hailed from.
Sub Inspector who brutally killed Maj Sinha was active member of Awami League student cadre of Jagannath
University and his father is Awami League leader of Gopalganj.

Saying 'OK, sir', Liaquat grabbed Sinha by the throat with his boots

Retired Major Sinha Mohammad Rashed Khan's death in the police firing was described as a 'pre-planned' assassination. His traveling companion was Shahedul Islam Sifat. He was accompanied by Major Sinha on his way from Teknaf to Cox's Bazar last Friday

Sifat, a student at a private university, said the police inspector who shot Sinha was talking on a mobile phone when he appeared to have fired shots to enforce someone else's instructions. While talking on the phone, he was addressing the person on the other side as 'Sir'. "Okay, sir, I'm doing it," he said in response to the other side. He then fired at Sinha.

Last Tuesday, the Home Ministry's investigation team met Sifat at Cox's Bazar Jail. Sifat told investigators.
Sources involved in the interrogation of Sifat inside the jail said that Sifat, a student of a private university, also said in the interrogation that the former army officer never tried to take out his licensed firearm, not even after being shot.

Sifat has completely refuted the police statement of the incident. Police claimed they were forced to shoot in self-defense. The probe team also spoke to Sinha's other teammate Shipra Debnath in jail. He is also a student of a private university. Police have charged the two with attempted murder and carrying drugs in two separate cases. Major (Retd.) Sinha was working on a documentary with the students in Cox's Bazar.

Recalling that night to the investigating team, Sifat said, "We were returning from the shooting spot of Baharchara union in Teknaf upazila of Cox's Bazar around 9.15 pm on Friday. We crossed two checkposts of Armed Police Battalion and Border Guard Bangladesh, everything was fine.

Sifat told the inquiry committee, "When they arrived at the Shamlapur checkpoint on Marine Drive in Cox's Bazar, the police signaled to stop them - it was their third checkpoint that night. When Sinha stopped the car, police inspector Liaquat Ali shouted and asked all of us to raise our hands. We do as he says. Sinha sir get out of the car and I sit in the front seat of the car. He introduces himself. He told the police that he was a former major in the Bangladesh Army. He even offered the police to contact the concerned authorities to verify his identity. But Liaquat started firing at him without any warning.

Sifat added, "Liaquat did not stop firing. When Sinha was moaning in pain, he grabbed her by the throat with his boots." The police on duty then asked our identity.

@idune , Hey you don't have to be over enthusiastic. Every one knows that police has been the foot soldier of Bangladesh govt from 1991 . It became worse since 2001 .

But was it not you who accussed Army to be the part of AL too ? Now showing fake love for them ? Actually what is your true face let everyone know.

The control over police already started and Army and police started the joint patrol in Cox's Bazar . So instead of posting all negative things only ,try to post some positive news too .

You talk so much and have so much to say , wat have u done ? Are u assisting another group ? Are u working towards making positive change ? Are u working overtly or covertly for political change? Let me know , cuz u come here and bark like a 12 yr old on every thread. No doubt the country is in oppression but it always has been . Nd it was worse way worse, this is no new story for us . This oppression by the scums of politics and society is not a new phenomena that came with a certain party.

You know why it’s corrupt ? Cuz the masses are cowardly and they bark in places Where their oppressors Can’t see. But they don’t have the will or courage to confront it. The problem is the nation of cowards. It hurts to say this but Bengalis are in my opinion , the most cowardly race on the face of the planet. People can say wat they want. I don’t know said this but I remember a quote which states that for evil and oppression to prosper and dominate in society, all it takes is the silence of the good ppl.

So dedicate ur life in saving this coward population. Your countrymen are weak. Contribute for a positive social change. A awake nd enlightened society can never be oppressed or chained. So contribute, Nd I don’t mean sum bs contribution. Dedicate urself to it, instead of barking like a 12 yr old . This is getting seriously annoying. Do nd don’t bark . Good boy .

Tbh ,shey just ghola panite machch shikar korader dole. His fake love is not for army or for any victim. His fake love is only for his political party goons .

Such people are never well wisher of Bangladesh . Specially people who directly tag military as partisan group , I always abhor them.

Even AL never had the audacity to tag our armed forces as Razakar or Jamati ,like they ( @idune and this kind ) were showing the audacity to insult armed forces by calling them Indian team , BAL army blah blah blah .

They expect that military will help their bastardized political parties to sit in power .

If military remain neutral ,they are tagged now by these traitors as BAL army .

Now trying to create chaos among Bangladeshis by using the sentiment against Govt .

Finally armed forces are always neutral and will always remain neutral . They are the only hope of the survival of Bangladesh.

We may have some disagreement about military chief , but I would say that if there is any Mirjafar , they can't cause nearly a huge fall like the battle of Plassey.

So we should rely on armed forces and DGFI as protector of Bangladesh.

Sometimes I feel that police are infested with raw , and it's time for DGFI to take action against the Raw agents inside police . But the @idune guy is generalizing everything with some agenda you see .

You maybe think him as 12 years old kid , but I found a neo Goebbles inside him.

One cannot expect better from the BAL, BCL or Jubo League hooligans when Hasina like brute is in power without a fair election. For the country's future it should get rid of Hasina worshiping culture and Hasina herself. However, I regret to see at least one guy here who does not see any fault with her mindset that encourages the young generation to do as they like.

About her mindset and the style of talking, there was a time when (Former) President B. Chowdhury stated in the Parliament that people need to know by medical tests if she is really a woman or a man, she was such a quarrelsome person. B. Chowdhury was an MP, probably the FM, at that time.

It is time again to conduct medical tests on her to know the truth because this virtue-less woman has successfully polluted every govt organization in Bangladesh, the foremost being the Police Department.

Major Sinha shot twice more when asked for oxygen to survive!

Sinha Mohammad Rashed of Bangladesh Army was being taken to hospital in a pickup van after being shot. Sinha, who was dying at the time, asked police officer Liaquat for oxygen to survive. But instead of oxygen, Liaquat shot him two more times while sitting in the pickup. Abuia, the driver of the pickup, gave such a description to his friends.

Abuya's friend, a CNG-powered autorickshaw driver, told the media. Earlier, police officer Liaquat shot Sinha while he was raising his hand during a search at a check post. The description of the shooting at the check post was given to the media by the muezzin of the local mosque.

It is learned that there are check posts of army, police and BGB at Teknaf Marine Drive in Cox's Bazar. The Shamlapur police check post is a little different from other checkposts. Although other checkposts are in secluded places, there are markets, mosques and localities next to this checkpost.

The autorickshaw driver said that after the incident, the mini pickup driver Belal alias Abuiya told him that the police fired two more rounds at Sinha on the way to the hospital.

He said he was driving away. The man who was shot in that condition wanted oxygen. Then he was shot twice again.

It is learned that Abuiya has been in security custody since the incident. However, his acquaintances said that he was taken away by a police officer for fear of being shot. He was very scared after coming back from the hospital.

Meanwhile, in a statement issued by the police, it has been said that Inspector Liaquat fired 4 rounds in self-defense at the spot. However, the police inquest has mentioned that Sinha was shot seven times.

After Sinha's death, Liaquat, the then head of the Baharchhara Investigation Center, spoke to three people on the phone. Among them are OC and SPO. Though there was talk of murder, no information was found in the phone conversation about the recovery of drugs or weapons.

At 9.30 pm on July 31, the then head of the Baharchhara Investigation Center, Liaquat, called the then Teknaf Police Station OC Pradeep's official number from his personal mobile phone. They talked for three minutes.

Then at 9:33 am, the constable in charge of Malkhana called Arif's personal number. Talked to him for 1 minute. At 9:34 am, Liaquat called the personal number of the Cox's Bazar police superintendent. They talked for three minutes.

In the conversation, Liaquat informed the SP about the incident. But there was no mention of drugs and weapons. The SP then spoke to OC Pradeep Kumar Das.

The Home Minister said the incident is being investigated. If SP's involvement in the incident is found, he will also be brought under the law.

The Home Minister said, 'We will see if the name of the SP comes, we will see whose name comes. Our Hon'ble Prime Minister will not give concessions to anyone.

He added, "Anyone found guilty in the investigation into the death of former Major Sinha will be brought to justice." Those who are found guilty in the investigation or those who are found guilty will be tried according to the investigation report.

Former Army Major Sinha was shot dead by police on the way home after a shooting in a hilly area of Shamlapur on the night of July 31.
