EME College, Rwp men munaqid hua NERC’14 jiska sab ko aur specially engineers ko pora saal intezar rehta hai. Har saal ki tarha is bar bhi competition ka difficulty level pehle se kai guna zyada tha. Event men total 67 teams ne qualify kiya jin ko 10 Leagues yani groups men divide kiya gya. Teams ka taluq in universities se tha:

* NUST EME (22 Teams)
* UET (20 Teams)
* GIKI (8 Teams)
* LUMS (8 Teams)
* University of Lahore (4 Teams)
* College of Aeronautical Engineering (2 Teams)
* COMSATS (1 Teams)
* Air University (2 Teams)

Event k pehle 4 din Heats chalti rahein jin men tamam leagues kay apas men qualifying rounds howay. 19th June ko Robo Wars hoen jin men Robots ki apas men fight karayi gayi aur ye maze se bharboor event tha.

NERC ka main event 21st June Satureday ko hua jab round of 16 se 8 teams ne Semi Finals k liye qualify kiya. Event
ki 8 best teams ek dosre kay aamne saamne thein or muqabla boht tough tha, har koi tayyar magar pressure men.
Maze ki bat ye kay sab teams EME se thein, is stage par jo 2 teams final men puhnchein, wo thein EME Tamatar or EME Jetjaguar.

Final boht dilshasp raha aur finally EME Tamatar ki team surprisingly jeet gayi. 3rd or 4th place ka match EME Victus ki team ne jeeta. Prize distribution se pehle different robots stage par apne funny or interesting harkaton se sab ko mehzooz krte rahe. Is kay ilawa videos kay zaraiye NUST EME kay different projects bhi dekhaye gaye jin men robots ko mukhtalif security related tasks karte howe dekhaya gaya.

Is event kay Chief Guest thay Cheif Logistics Pakistan Army jinhon ne winning prize apni taraf se donate kiya jo k 125,000/- tha. Event me es k elawa bhi mukhtalif teams ko different catagories men prizes diye gaye.
NERC’14 ne aik bar phir saabit kiya kay Pakistan ki youth kisi se peche nahi aur agar inko munasib wasail provide
kiye jain tou wo kuch bhi karne ki bharphoor salahiyat rakhti hen.

National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) and STEM Career Programme -HEC organized the 12th Annual National Engineering Robotics Contest at NUST, College of Electrical & Mechanical Engineering (E&ME) here, says a press release.

This is the pioneering and biggest robotics contest in the country which attracts participants from all over the country. The Chief of Logistics Staff Lieutenant General Syed Tariq Nadeem Gilani, was the chief guest of this year’s event.

In his address the chief guest, while complimenting the efforts taken up so vigorously by NUST College of E&ME called “National Engineering Robotics Contest” a platform providing the engineering students of Pakistan with an opportunity to get the complete engineering experience. He said that “Seeing such a huge turnout and the students working with such dedication on one of the most sophisticated field engineering has to offer, I can see the potential of our future engineers”.

Brigadier Jamil Sarwar Malik, commandant of College of EME in his address welcomed everyone to the National Engineering Robotics Contest 2014, he appreciated how the number of participants had grown over the years and the standard of the competition has risen. He said “Winning or losing is not the aim of this contest; the focus is to provide a platform to showcase the potential of mechatronics engineers of Pakistan, to encourage students to display their skills, innovative ideas and to enhance existing potential capabilities to the world of rapidly growing technology. Our industry should also aim towards promoting the latest technological trends and not only hire such students but also collaborate with the academia in development of in-house products”.
