SAC to deliver new J-11B jets

SAC is the laugh stock in China since it copied the SU-27.Pepole wont feel surprised if it will roll out a T-50 like 5th generation fighter/bomber in the coming years.Chinese fans already consider this SAC J-XX a FLANKER variant.Lol.

So, it sounds like China is actually by pass the 5th Generation class to go forward with developing the 6th Generation class instead. ;)

@Indian members: You all need to stop trolling in the China subforum and take it to the main board. We know that our one-child policy has put us at a numerical disadvantage compared with you guys here.

However, before you do that, please be aware that you can't even produce the all mighty LCA domestically and China has already rolled out 100% indigenous J-11b which is far superior to the Su-27 in terms of electronics.

Lol, that was original.

Never knew the J-20 was 6th generation. ;)

Canada has a one child policy?

Due to the fact that the US may keep their F15 & F18 fighters in service a bit longer for new generation of fighters to be emerged. They've already "junked" all of their F117s while both of the F35 & F22 fighters appear to have quite a few bugs to overcome. Perhaps with better composite materials, different forms of engine, and integration of their avionic systems; a totally different and more functional stealth fighters could be developed so that their technological edges of air supremacy could be maintained for a couple more decades yet.

There are no agreed upon standards of what should be in a 'class'. When an aircraft is deployed, outside of the R/D environment, the design is effectively 'frozen' forever. That is why after every design is deployed we effectively begin with a clean slate. Every design has shortcomings and flaws so we take the current technology and see how the current technological evolution would benefit the 'frozen' design, then we start that clean slate upon that. Very seldom does anyone has any ideas on how creative his competitor really is and that is why we so often overestimate each other and try to best what we believe our competitor deployed or going to deployed. So when a design is sufficiently more laden with superior technology it is only natural that we conveniently create a 'class' in order to distinguish the current with the new.

So do not worry about this '5th' or '6th' generation nonsense. If China decided to use a higher number it is mostly for internal propaganda purposes.

....both of the F35 & F22 fighters appear to have quite a few bugs to overcome.
Nothing unusual about that. ALL designs have 'teething' issues. If anyone tell you his product have no deployment flaws, even if his product is the simple hair comb, he is a liar.

There is no 'perhaps' about it. We already have designs that are superior to the F-22.

Wow that sounds familiar. Wonder where I heard that from before.

You are just as big of a fanboy as the "Chinese boys".
Never denied that. The issue is who is the more credible and am willing to put my posts up against any of the Chinese crowd's. Remember that 'all movable' vertical stab being superior to the rudder nonsense?

In terms of avionics or aerodynamics?
F-35 is surely superior in avionics.I am not sure about the other one.

I do not think the 6th generation fighter project was implemented simply to erase the problems with the F-22 and F-35.

And do explain the F-22's "bugs".
