One of the reasons why Saudi women have to cover themselves is cuz of youngsters. A lot of these people have nothing to do, they have the money but no jobs. If women were to cover themselves with a burqa then sexual harassment will be low naturally. They also have a religious police called (muthawaas), to keep an eye.

just because your men dont have control of their Dxxks, the women have to loose their freedom.....why not ask your men to wear steel underwear with locks or something and the key can be given to the wife if married or his mom till he gets married ...that will also reduce sexual harrasment......

Whose men? Aren't we talking about Saudi Arabia? By the way read my last post. You will get your answer...

again i will say that each nation has its own traditions
you see from your angle and your point of view
you are correct on your side
but a girl who born in such society, grew up like that and observe every female around like that .. automatically her inner accept all that and she feels nothing bad in wearing such dress
this is your point of view that it is against human laws or rubbish
.

By the way now that you guys mentioned Pakstan, same goes with Indian Army... They can't control their hormones

Dude i used to live there. i know. Trust me. I have no interest, its just the way it is. If arab culture is like that then why is just Saudi Arabia?

Its not all about Arab, Pak or India,,,,, I am against any kind of inhuman activity like that.

One way, we are including ladies in armed forces,,,, talking of advance 21st century,,,, on the other,,,, we are watching another face of life like this cruel culture. We are changing with time in better human interests and strong legislation against sati pratha, dowry etc are the examples of this.....

Let all men go do their work in offices for at least 15 hrs. a day... This will surly distract them

Last time I read about "Girl School fire" incident in Saudi Arabia. The authority never rescued girls and let them die because they were not wearing burqas which they feared would incite sexual excitement among men. This is insanity how come sexual excitation came in their mind when saving life is more important.

So tell me something. The problem is the jobless youngsters and the solution proposed is to wrap up women instead of putting a leash on the rich brats. Excellent. By that logic a woman who is raped should be punished instead of the offender because it is she who looks beautiful and attracted the attention of opportunists/rapists ?

Perhaps we should lock them up in their houses so that these youngsters can't harass them?

Seriously, it's those youngsters that should be punished for sexual harassment, not the women...

Islamic state fears effect of 'tempting' eyes on men
Says it 'has the right' to issue repressive edict
Women must already cover their hair and wear full-length black cloak

Women with attractive eyes may be forced to cover them up under Saudi Arabia's latest repressive measure, it was revealed today.
The ultra-conservative Islamic state has said it has the right to stop women revealing 'tempting' eyes in public.
A spokesperson for Saudi Arabia's Committee for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice, Sheikh Motlab al Nabet, said a proposal to enshrine the measure in law has been tabled.

'Tempting' eyes: Muslim women could be forced to cover up even their eyes if a 'right' of the Saudi state is enforced

Women in Saudi Arabia already have to wear a long black cloak, called an abaya, cover their hair and, in some regions, conceal their faces while in public.
If they do not, they face punishments including fines and public floggings.
They are also banned from driving by religious edict and cannot travel without authorisation from their male guardians.

In September, a Saudi women sentenced to 10 lashes for defying the driving ban was only spared when King Abdullah stepped in to stop the public flogging.
Also in September, the king announced that women would be given the right to vote for the first time and run in the country's 2015 local elections.
The CPVPV, which employs around 3,500 religious police, has repeatedly been accused of human rights violations.
Founded in 1940, its function is to ensure Islamic laws are not broken in public in Saudi Arabia.
In 2002 the committee refused to allow female students out of a burning school in Mecca because they were not wearing the correct head covering.
The decision contributed to the toll of 15 people who were killed in the fire

Ugh, ultraconservatives are a disease to this evolving world. I would not tolerate this kind of law on my mother, daughter, or sister, etc.

I just have one question..
Who gets to judge about the attractiveness of a particular woman's eyes?
Will they have a panel of male clergy just for that?

Clergyman " You , woman.. yes.. yess.. your eyes are deep, I am falling for them.... ahh.. ohh.. Okay.. enough.. if the rest of you are done I suggest she wear sunglasses from now own, all those in favor raise their Right hands".

p.s I know I am posting something very offensive ..
will delete it ASAP on request.
