excluding civilains of course excuse me I qualified my statement.

meant strictly the attacks on Indian forces camps and patrols
refer to one where Indian army had to deploy tanks to take them out.

on our side when BLA/ TTP attacks our posts or patrols that is seen as a brave attempt too.

There's nothing really wrong in sending in armored personnel carriers/tanks, though it's like smashing an egg shell with a jack hammer. But they are being used only for protection of troops from small arms fire of the terrorists.
