Soaring Profits Push Pakistan's KSE-100 to 4-Year High

This thread was set up to fail from beginning. :hitwall:

If "fail" to you means KSE consistently outperforming BSE, they yes it's a GRAND FAILURE.

And the GRAND FAILURE extend well beyond the stock market.

Pakistan has created more jobs, graduated more people from schools and colleges, built a larger middle class and lifted more people out of poverty as percentage of its population than India in the last decade. And Pakistan has done so in spite of the huge challenges posed by the war in Afghanistan and a very violent insurgency at home.

The above summary is based on volumes of recently released reports and data on job creation, education, middle class size, public hygiene, poverty and hunger over the last decade that offer new surprising insights into the lives of ordinary people in two South Asian countries.

^^^So, why in spite of creating more jobs, graduating more people from schools and colleges, building a larger middle class and lifting more people out of poverty than India, the average Pakistan GDP growth rate in the last decade is just 2.5%, as compared to India’s 7%

Nonsense!

Pak GDP has grown between 6-8% for most of the last decade and its fruits have been shared more equitably than its neighbors'. Pakistan is the most egalitarian country in South Asia as measured by its Gini Index. The CIA World Factbook reports Pakistan’s Gini Index has decreased from 41 in 1998-99 to 30.6 in 2007-8, lower than India's 36.8 and Bangladesh's 33.2.

This will not do. We cannot continue like this. Sooner or later we will have to wake up and face the arduous task of economy-building that lies ahead of us......

Riaz Bhai i always love ur articles with realistic data & Optimism.....
I wonder when we all hear (especially from Pak media & indians) tht Pakistan is going down why the companies are having record profits & multinationls are investing more & more to increase productions to fulfill roburst demand.......

we just need to create a weather of economic activities just like other emerging countries....in which current PPP Govt failed badly.

i wonders indians thinks tht the fake GDP growth rates in India means every thing for them no matters how much common peoples going backwards including most of them they are just happy with just growth rates figures...:D
